"Really great experience staying in Zermatt! Medium distance walk from the train, still very easy. They do offer transportation for a very reasonable fee. My room was advertised as having a Matterhorn view, did it ever!! I opened the curtains, and there it was! Perfectly framed in the doorway. I could see it from the bed as well. Very generous breakfast each morning. Lovely patio with abundant flowers. I will definately stay here on my next trip to Zermatt. PS, They have apartments in the building across the street, I was able to use the laundy there, very convenient!"

Breakfast, check in and out out of Hotel simi which is at the end of the same street on right side, 10 sec walk. Excellent stay. Matterhorn was white out and has free bus to hotel. About 30 min if you walk. But we did train Gornegrat. Leaves from train station. Dont miss the zoom and virtual paragliding up there. Trains every 20 min."
