There were easy hikes within a 30-45 minute car ride. The lake is good for kayaking, canoeing and for playing in the water near the dock.

The lake is right there and we can paddle our kayaks out from the dock or head to the various boat inputs on Thompson or down to the other end of the lake and paddle the Heath. The camp is the perfect size for my friend and I, the beds are comfy, and it is always quiet.

I enjoy Maine's lakes and mountains, or, the area where this house is located. I have stayed here before, and found recent improvements (storage cabinet, living room rug) welcome. I find I need to bring a couple pieces of cooking equipment every year and plan to air out the place immediately after arriving, plus wash few dishes and pans (I like truly spotless). The people next door are friendly but not intrusive. Their presence offers a layer of safety.
