Awesome Country Guest House in the Woods

Get away from the crowds and enjoy Nature and Peace. This Awesome Guest House is nestled into the woods with large Pine Trees and natural splendor all around. It is a great one bedroom, one bathroom house with a full kitchen, living room with 50" HD Smart TV, love seat and sleeper sofa, and a full laundry facility. Youtube TV, Disney+ and Amazon Prime Video are available for viewing. We just upgraded to a king size luxury memory foam bed that will make you want to cuddle up all day long.

There is a huge 600+ square foot outdoor elevated deck attached to the house that is ready to welcome you home to nature. We recently installed a privacy screen on the deck for your undisturbed leisure.

There is an option to enjoy a massage while visiting with an on site massage therapist. Just contact us after booking your visit to arrange a time and particular service.

This house is a perfect choice for anyone looking for a place to get away from the hustle of town and just relax. We are about a 10 minute drive from Kroger Grocery Store in Oxford down Highway 6 East. This allows a separation from the crowds and ability to enjoy both the hustle and bustle of Oxford on a game day and a sit amongst nature during your stay.

Parking on a flat driveway is provided a short walk from the house. Access to the guest house is provided through the side gate and sidewalk.

Great hideaway
This place is cute, clean, and feels like home. We had coffee on the side porch and enjoyed the country around us. It was close to where we needed but, out of the hustle of the city. Our hosts were easy to reach and accommodating to our needs. We will definitely be back.

Wonderful stay!
This cottage was perfect for what we needed while we were visiting friends in the area. It is quaint and in very good condition. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck for breakfast. Dave and Southern were great hosts and made extra effort to be sure we were comfortable. Our kids and their kids even got to play together a bit. :)

Needed a reasonable priced place to stay while in town for the weekend. This place is about 10-15 minutes drive from anywhere in Oxford. The house was clean and had everything we needed. We would stay there again.

Like staying in a cozy cabin
Great location, great hosts and great space surrounded by woods and pastures. And the most comfortable bed we have ever slept on! We travel all over the country exploring and writing about small town America and Dave’s place was a wonderful alternative to any hotel. Location was perfect to explore Oxford and the surrounding areas and then retreat to relax from the long day. If you’re anywhere near Oxford, book your stay here!

This was a great place to stay away from the hustle and bustle of town. It was quiet and peaceful. Just a few minutes away from town but felt like being in the country. David was a great host. We stayed while visiting our daughter who is a student at Ole Miss. Was concerned it was going to be too far to drive, but it was very easy and convenient. It was good to be out of the traffic & congestion in Oxford during a game day weekend. Would definitely stay again.
