With the continuation of the COVID-19 pandemic, travelling today comes with a few more challenges. Make a note of these worthwhile tips before jumping on your plane to Oxbow:

• Research if any travel restrictions apply to your origin and destination before locking in a flight. Also check if there are any special conditions you'll need to follow on arrival, such as undergoing health assessments.
• When you go through airport screening, keep your face mask on. You will be asked to briefly lower it for identification purposes. Those who refuse to wear a mask may be fined and denied boarding.
• To reduce the potential of cross-contamination, position your boarding pass on the reader yourself and then hold it up for inspection. Do not hand your boarding pass directly to a TSA agent.
• TSA is now permitting passengers to take one container of hand sanitizer, up to 12 oz (350 ml) in size, in carry-on baggage. This will need to be removed from your bag and submitted for screening.
• Place any personal items (phone, keys and wallet) in your carry-on rather than a bin to minimize handling during the screening process.
• Transport any food items in a clear plastic bag and also put them in a screening bin. Keeping food separate from your carry-on means it's less likely a TSA agent will need to open your bag for inspection.

In an effort to limit contact between passengers and cabin crew during the global COVID-19 pandemic, the majority of airlines have taken physical distancing and other preventive measures to the skies. An example of these are:

• JetBlue - this airline is known for keeping the middle seat empty and capped capacity flights.
• Delta - this airline is known for electrostatic cleaning and cleaning with disinfectant.
• American Airlines - this airline is known for providing passenger masks and cleaning with disinfectant.
