The staff were very friendly and helpful, the receptionist had booked guests in a million times and was very efficient. Superking beds, spacious and comfortable first floor apartment near town centre
Another comfortable and warm stay in this spacious apartment. It’s in a very central location, close to the castle, and has everything you need for a relaxing stay. Note, though, that the key code is not changed between rentals.

Luxurious Converted Bothy/Barn In an Idyllic Setting
Everything you need, very comfortable bed and great log burner, friendly host. NOTE: not really mountain side but can’t leave that off the rating.

White House Cottages
Handy location to Durham and countryside. Clean cozy and friendly clear communications. Nice touch to have some supplies available on arrival. Felt unclear where to park as other locals parked up but I’m sure it would have been clear should I have asked.
