The house was very comfortable and well stocked. the beds were very comfortable. The only thing we felt was inaccurate about the listing was the fact that the windows were tinted. if you were in the house it was extremely dark, but if you were outside it was oppressively hot (it was August) and the deck had no umbrella for shade. the other thing that would have been nice would be a hose or some more outdoor toys for the kids to play with. Luckily it was close to target so I was able to go there to buy some water toys for us to use outside. Communicated with the host was very easy and they were responsive.

Nice Group Stay

Myself and my coaching staff were in the area for a youth softball tournament and were looking for a home that could house 8 or 9 adults comfortably. This place filled the bill nicely, both spatially and location wise. Located close to the interstate, it was extremely convenient to get around to the various venues we needed to get to. In addition, there are plenty of nearby restaurants and grocery stores. Communication with the host was promptly responded to. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect location

Location was excellent. And the house is big, yet cozy. Very safe area and within a 15-20 minute drive to everything. Really enjoyed our time here. The house is very well kept and clean. Property manager response time was amazing. Great people to deal with!!!

Great Location

Perfect for large groups. We were there for a work trip and it was nice having a clean and comfortable place to stay. Only thing we would have liked would have been additional towels as we were there multiple days. And throw blankets for people who are easily chilled.

Fantastic establishment

This home is beautiful with room for many guests. The kitchen had all we needed and there were baby items available as well . . . high chair, gates, plates and glasses. It fit us very well. Would absolutely stay here again!

Nice Stay

We enjoyed our short time at this house. Plenty of kitchenware and cooking supplies to cook meals for a large family. Beds were also comfortable. Host was accommodating and answered questions timely. There is no access to the garage and luggage has to be carried up a lot of stairs. All in all, it was a nice, comfortable stay.

Comfy and Convenient

This home was perfect for our stay. It is in a nice, quiet neighborhood and is convenient to many locations (highway, grocery, restaurants, etc.) The house has great space for a large group (we were 8 adults-3 couples and 2 singles). We also had 3 adults join us for a couple of meals and there was plenty of room. The beds and pillows are very, very comfortable! The house was clean and the owner graciously provided ample supplies. Loved it and would stay here again!!!

Spacious and very clean

We had a fabulous time. The house is very clean and comfortable. The host is kind and helpful. The beds are comfortable and there is so much space. The 5 bedrooms were a dream and it was nice for everyone to have their own space. There are a lot of stairs which wasn't a problem for us but doesn't really show in the pictures. My kids loved it! The neighborhood is great and felt super safe! Thank you for a great stay!

Thanksgiving 2023

Was the perfect layout for our crew! Front yard was perfect for flag football Thanksgiving day and the amenities throughout the home were comfortable. Only thing you may need to be aware of, if you’re planning on cooking, is the lack of baking and casserole dishes. Everything else in the kitchen is basically covered. Thank you to the host for being so accommodating!

Spacious unique stay

Four of us stayed in this home for three nights while in town for a funeral. It was spacious and the kitchen had everything we needed. We only used three of the five bedrooms and the beds were comfortable and rooms large. We felt safe in the location and especially appreciated the gated parking and fenced aspect. I would recommend disclosing the multiple levels and stairs required to move through the house. Also there was a pool that was covered and not usable, viewable when relaxing on the spacious deck. The upstairs right bedroom bed frame needs updating as the fabric was torn in the corner and the box springs under the comfortable mattress were very old. That comforter had a large stain and I would recommend adding a chair in this space. The den was well appointed and spacious. Overall we had a comfortable stay.

1960’s split multi level home. We gathered in Overland Park for a mom/daughter’s retreat. We chose this house because of location and reviews. I Had I known there were so many steps and stairs everywhere, I would have not rented this house. NINE steps up to front door, no handrails. More steps and stairs throughout the house with no handrails except to upstairs 4 bedrooms- but once upstairs, there are more stairs to the loft bedroom and a random step up to shower and commode in hall bathroom. The one HVAC unit in this house has a hard time cooling the 4 upstairs bedrooms. It was over 80 degrees upstairs when I notified the the property manager- she very quickly had someone over to try to remedy the problem. Property Manager also had a handy man install a handrail from main level bedroom up to the kitchen (three steps) which was invaluable to our mom. House was conveniently located for shopping, and in a quiet neighborhood. We requested working nightlights for the 3 bathrooms and they promptly delivered those the next day. Beds were “ok”. Best feature of the property was location and promptness of property manager to try and make our stay manageable and comfortable.

Great family gathering!!

OMG. My husband and I have three married children. We all met to celebrate our daughter’s graduation. The youngest of the grand children was 8 months and the oldest was 17. The individual families all had enough room to care for their children and the gathering spaces worked perfectly. We had a family karaoke night that was hilarious. The neighborhood was quite a nice family oriented area. This was our first VRBO adventure and I know we could not have this great of a gathering in a motel environment. I understand why the swimming pool was off limits but I will say that we would have paid more to have access of a pool. All in all, what a great experience and so many memories and loving connections we expanded. Thank you to the home owners for welcoming us into your home and allowing us to celebrate our family get together and celebration.
