Could’ve been better
Several burnt out bulbs inside. No propane for grill. Hot tub was 6” low on water. fire place did not work even though we were told it would turn on automatically (it did not). Was clean with plenty of linens and cooking utensils but I think I would have stayed elsewhere.

Perfect little get away
This cabin was perfect for our fall break / birthday get away. Everything was provided from towels and shampoo to a full kitchen with appliances. We enjoyed visiting all the near by lakes and fishing and the hot tub was a perfect end to the day.

I LOVE this cabin!
I'll try to keep this short-ish, I just had the best stay here!! THIS CABIN IS MAGICAL! It was me and two other girlfriends that we got together for a retreat. And let me tell you, that hot tub definitely became part of our retreat! This was the first VRBO I've ever ever tried so I don't know the "drill" so to speak or what is generally provided. There were towels enough for us all but if you want separate towels for the hot tub, you might want to pack those. We just used our same towels. Also, there weren't trash bas or any zip lock bags. So we just went to the Dollar General a mile away and got those, including tinfoil. There was coffee and creamer and cooking spices. The closing instruction ask to run the dishwasher and washer for towels upon leaving, those pods were available to do so. Everything was clean and comfortable and just amazing. Truly, this rental was just perfect for what me and my girls needed to get away. The wi-fi and instructions were on the fridge and very clear. The location is very close to the highway so you can hear traffic outside on the porch but no big deal. It is close to several other cabins but everyone was very respectful, quiet and kept to their own vacations. I had no contact with Vanessa because I didn't need to. Getting the key was a sinch and the email I received covered all the bases. I hope me and my crew left a good impression because if I do a small gathering again, I will ABSOLUTELY book this cabin again.

Low hot water, low water pressure, fireplace didn't work, hot tub was missing some Jets, garbage is overflowing,no hot water for the showers and no water for showers, toilet took 30 minutes to fill up. Absolutely no call backs from The Host,nails and screws heads are up on the porch, towels are all musty and no wash rags.

Hi Michael, we take it seriously when guests let us know that we missed the mark, and after sending your feedback to the homeowner, they’d like to share the following: - We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you experienced during your stay. We had a plumber scheduled before your arrival, but unfortunately, they didn't show up. The issue stemmed from the extremely hard water in this area, which caused scale buildup in the water heater and faucets. Since then, a plumber has resolved the issues by cleaning the faucets, flushing the water heater, and replacing the toilet float. - Thank you for the additional feedback mentioned in your review. We're looking into all of your concerns and plan to make the appropriate changes where necessary. We appreciate you letting us know about your concerns as it gives us the means to improve and provide 5-star experiences moving forward.

All of the cookware I used had to be washed before use. The gas BBQ was not covered and there was no cover to be found. An owl had taken the liberty to cover the BBQ so I had to clean that up before use. There was no dishwasher soap and I reported it. The response was that it is under the sink. I had already checked under the sink and two of my adult family members also checked and no soap. I received no further response when I reported that. All other things in the cabin were fine, and we enjoyed our stay. Thank you.
