Gem!

Couldn’t fault anything. Really commendable is their effort to sustainability. It is well located and is walking distance to everything in the city centre. I had a pleasant stay and rest and will definitely book them again when I come back to Oulu.

Nice hotel with sustainability focus

Good location close to city center. Well-equipped room with refrigerator and microwave. Clean room and comfortable bed. Breakfast area too small, gets really crowded in the morning. The hotel needed more staff. The two people working in the morning were trying hard but finding it difficult to manage the reception and the breakfast.

The hotel is located in the city center. I stayed for about 1 1/2 weeks for work reasons. Wonderful: Special thanks to Katja and Tiina. They are so friendly and make the stay feel like home. Without them I would have changed hotel after a few days. Positives: - Coffee and kettle in the room (but no tea or coffee) - Microwave and fridge -Water and (terrible) coffee at the front desk for free Negatives: - Coffee in the breakfast room / during the day. Nowadays it is no longer acceptable to be offered a filter coffee in the hotel. There was no other offer. This is an absolute no-go for me as a frequent traveler - Breakfast The breakfast is not good at all. The egg tastes like nothing. Salami and cheese are cheap quality. If the hotel sells itself as climate neutral, a minimum would be that it offers regional products. So it would be worth paying a little more money to get a high quality breakfast. But this breakfast is not recommended and it is too expensive for this poor quality. Rooms: The beds are of poor quality. Changed rooms but the beds were the same.

They charge for breakfast 12-14 euros! The laundry is free but there are no dryers. This place is very conciously GREEN! Credit cards are used for everything in the city.

The toilet has a foul smell and the sofa bed looks dirty, not letting any of my family members sleep there. With the cold weather, they turn down or off the air conditioning and no ways to open the window for fresh air nor increase air flow. Family room with small cupboard and 4 hangers, a missed in design.

Unfortunately, I did not receive a confirmation email for my second room booking, which required me to contact customer service for assistance. I would like to commend your customer service team for their helpfulness, politeness, and patience during our conversation. However, I must express my disappointment with the condition of the rooms. I found the accommodations to be quite lacking. The fridge in one of the rooms was excessively noisy and could not be turned off, which was quite disruptive. Additionally, the table was not clean, and there was no table lamp available, unlike in the other room occupied by my companions. The bathroom facilities also left much to be desired. The absence of a removable shower head made for an inconvenient experience, and the shower curtain felt outdated. The overall space felt cramped, reminiscent of a cabin rather than a comfortable hotel room. Moreover, I noticed that the linen in one of the rooms was stained, which was quite concerning. The bed placement, right against the window and curtains, further contributed to the feeling of confinement. Overall, I found the hotel to be quite dated and more suited for a budget stay. I believe there is significant room for improvement in both the facilities and clean. We arrived after 23:00 and were quite tired from our journey. Unfortunately, we encountered an issue with parking, as there were no available spaces at the hotel. We managed to find alternative parking, but it added to our stress
