During our trip to Tinghir (to explore the Tondra and Gages Gorge), two friends, my wife, little son and I stayed for two nights in the Riad Timadrouine. In general the riad is nice and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The free WiFi was ok but not great (quite common in Morocco). Our host Rachid was really kind and gave us a lot of useful hints on Tinghir and the surrounding area (especially Tondra and Gages Gorge). Last but not least, every morning Rachid made us a delicious breakfast.
The guesthouse is close to Tinghir (approximately 20 km away) and a perfect starting point to explore the city and both the Dades and Tondra Gorge. A small grocery shop is next to the riad, for restaurants and bigger shops it is better to go to Tinghir.
The only minor point of criticism was our arrival. We arrived two hours earlier than the check-in time and as it is not the main season for this area, nobody was available in the riad. Therefore we were not even able to get in. In the end it was not too bad, we drove to Tinghir and spent the waiting time there.
All in all, we really had a good time at the Riad Timadrouine and we would definitely stay there again.
A great place to stay if you are passing through. We chose it last minute when we were unable to reach our booked hotel in the gorge because a bridge was closed. This Riad is a little outside of a small town so not a destination but on the main route. A perfect place to land of you are looking for a night in route to the desert. There is a sauna, hot tub and a swimming pool. Lovely host.

When I got to the hotel at 3:30 pm, it was abandoned. I asked the neighbor
for help, and we called the owner, who came at 5:00 pm. He then told me
that they do not use Expedia and did not have my booking. I showed him the
email confirmation and he said it was not his problem. He then told me I
could have a room, but I would need to pay him €xx extra (three times the booking amount).
I had to eventually drive two hours to the next town and pay for a room
there.
This was incredibly inappropriate.
The Riad is found on the side of the road on the way to Tinghir from Boumalne Dades. It is a gorgeous building with unique style and decorations. The host is very nice with a tour of the space and is happy to answer any questions. The room is spacious with comfortable bed, good lighting, good WiFi signal, and adequate outlets. The dinner served was good with local breads, T-bone steak, potatoes and zucchini. They only had limited supply of wine, which the group before us got. The sauna was nice, as was the Hammam room. We used the hot tub but quickly went to the sauna as the water wasn’t very warm. We had a great time there and would recommend it to anyone travelling through Morocco.
I booked this hotel at the last minute with the pool and restaurant in mind. I was on the road and needed a place quickly and the thought of a nice meal on site and a pool to cool off after a long day seemed very inviting. Well neither was meant to be. The manager or owner that met me informed me that he didn't have any food for me and that dinner would be at 8:30 :( so I ended up having to get back in my car and drive to the next town to get something to eat. The pool was freezing to that was not going to happen either. The room was fine. The hotel should not advertise that it has a restaurant as it's not.

Remote and a bit spooky
It is a fair way out of tinerhir and quite remote. When we arrived there was no one at home. So I phoned the number on the front door and the manager was shopping in Tinerhir and would return in 1 hour. We got pestered for money by some of the local kids so made off to another hotel on the main road to wait for the manager to turn up.
Best riad we've stayed in in Morocco so far. It's big and beautiful and full of interesting things to look at. Only downside is the restaurant wasn't open for dinner as we were the only ones staying there that night so we had to drive into town which is about 20 minutes away.
Excellent small riad .....lovley restructured by the French owner. Perfect located in the valley of Kasbah for a stop over in our roundtrip. Excellent service.
I feel very good during my stay.
This hotel locate near the main road from Marrakech to Tinghir. During one day of long drive here is the good place to relex yourself. There is only one guest during my stay. But the manager treat us bery well. He show me the antique autopiano and runs very well. Hope I can live there next time.
Nice place, a little overpriced, but there seems to be little choice in the area. Their WIFI is the worst we had in 3 weeks, but there simply is limited coverage in the area. The jacuzzi is in need of a cleanup, the (free!) hammam is small and self serviced which is no problem if you are with at least two people. The pool has heating, but its turned off most of the time.
This beautifully, tastefully decorated riad provides a lovely sanctuary from the arid, dusty countryside. We had a wonderfully spacious room and bathroom, with our only minor complaints being that it was very dark, and the absence of a cupboard or wardrobe in which to hang our clothing. Our hosts were extremely friendly and hospitable, and we appreciated having a delicious lunch rustled up for us on arrival, even though they don't officially serve lunch. Their generosity also extends to all soft drinks being included and free sauna, jacuzzi and hammam. The breakfasts are a real treat, with fresh pancakes, and the dinners are copious, although rather too much garlic is used in almost everything for my personal taste. Wifi is very sketchy and we were given a fright on check-out when we were told they only accept cash. Apparently this is marked on other booking sites, but it certainly wasn't marked on our booking or on the hotels.com website.

2 night stay
Way out of town, however the staff make you feel it is worth it to stay there. We would go again!
Simple review. Stay here, you will not be disappointed. Attention to details, relax in self-spa environment, enjoy roof deck or pool and the manager for our stay was wonderful including time on the roof pointing out the stars and planets.
