The room was perfect!!! The pool is great! But we were welcomed only in English (we are French Canadian) and it’s Ottawa, the capital of Canada . This city is supposed to be bilingual and this is a high quality hôtel, we expect bilingual staff at the réception. Not Even a « Bonjour ».

Fairmont Chateau Laurier
We were upgraded to a two room suite. The Hotel is dated but expected because it is historic and classy. Staff is terrific and responsive. Great location next to the parliament buildings.
