The Lodge at Flat Rock
I would consider this hotel a step up from the usual chain hotels. The breakfast bar was the usual with a nice selection of items. The outdoor space in the back was lovely. It was also very quiet.

Our final room was clean. But we had to move rooms because the first room smelled badly of cigarettes. Overall, the room was good. Comfy beds. Bright bathroom. Asheville River Cabins
Great little cabin. A few unexpected things. You cannot stand up in the loft area. Have to crawl into bed. Hot tubs are clean but do not look clean due to the mineral content in the water.
