"Great little family run bed and breakfast. Nothing fancy. Perfect place to stay while you enjoy the lake and the region. Excellent breakfast. Julia speaks excellent English and was very helpful and friendly. Very quiet at night, some noise from the street in the morning. 5 minute walk to the train station, 10 minute walk to the beach (free access if you stay 3+ nights), 20 minute hike up a hill to a wonderful viewpoint. Various local cafes and restaurants. Nearby Klagenfurt 15 minutes by train...

"Very basic but clean apartment in a stunning location by the lake. Staff relatively helpful, booked for 2 people / 2 beds yet only got 1 double & no offer to rectify other than to shoe-horn a single bed into an already tiny room! No wifi in room and no offer to rectify. Nice owners but I feel they have no interest with (Expedia) customers issues."

"Overall of course perfectly located on Ossiacher See if that is where you are aiming to be. Very quit and amazing views from the terrace. The appartment however has not been upgraded since the early 80s (except the shower) and things like amenities are a mix of left-overs/spare accesories. It works but basically its done in a way to maximize rental income with minimum investment. More importantly the appartment is very damp which is largely because they probably save on cost during the winter...

"Lovely apartment, had everything you could ask for...and cheap as I got it for £50 the day before I travelled. A quick 5 minute walk from Villach HBF. The information was clear and kept updated and I was pleased to be able to check in an hour or so early to dump my suitcase off and then explore"
