"The hotel was right on the lake and had a lovely beach. A great place for kids. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There’s many winery’s to visit close by. You can make your own meals or there’s a good selection of restaurants near the hotel. I would definitely recommend The Poplars Hotel."

"The room was very outdated. There was no electrical outlet in the bathroom. The bathtub had hair in it. The tub enclosure had loose paint all around it and the ceiling in the bathroom had paint falling off it. The box spring of the bed was very uneven. The foot of the bed was higher than the head. The only good thing about this place was the nice lady at the counter. We won’t be coming to this spot again and we had planned on making reservations for later the summer. Sorry folks"
