Beautiful Luxury Beachfront Home on Lake Huron - Spectacular Views/ Sugar Sand

This 2200 s.f. beachfront home is set deep into a private wooded lot on 80' of gorgeous sugar sand Lake Huron Beach. This recently updated home includes a fully equipped kitchen, dining area (seats 8), family room with natural fireplace, living room, and 4 bedrooms (master with king, #2 bdrm with queen, #3 bdrm with queen bed, and a bunk room that sleeps 4 - please note that this room is an open concept). The master bdrm, living room, family room, dining area and kitchen all have SPECTACULAR views of Lake Huron.

There is so much to offer with this rental! It's on the waterfront with shallow clear water and tons of sugar sand! From this perfect location you can stroll along the sandy beach or lounge and relax. The site is in line with a large sand reef and is shallow for several hundred feet with numerous sandbars - great for young swimmers and water games. Minutes from canoeing, great golf courses, shopping, antiques, and numerous state park attractions.

Just 3 miles North in Oscoda there are restaurants, ice cream parlors, a movie theater, putt putt golf, bowling, and the Oscoda city park. To the South 8 miles is East Tawas. There is much to offer in East Tawas too! A beautiful park, great restaurants, shopping, the pier, Marion's Ice Cream Parlor and so much more.

The Gailes at Lakewood Shores - One of the best golf courses in Michigan, listed in the top 10, is just a few miles away. If you enjoy golfing this is one you don't want to miss out.

Perfect family vacation

Great house, spacious, comfortable, nicely decorated and clean. Location is phenomenol with views of the lake from the living room. Great amenities, especially the beach fire pit and beach volleyball. Shelly is a great host, and repsonsive to all communication. Highly recommend this rental!

It was beautiful...inside and out. Comfortable seating, comfortable sleeping, good eating areas, the remodeled kitchen was great...all of the remodels were great! The dishes, cookware and appliances provided, made food prep easy. And clean up was a cinch with the new dishwasher. The sandy beach was pristine and we enjoyed relaxing on the beach looking out across Lake Huron...so breathtaking. It was the perfect setting for our family get together. Thank you.

Amazing beach views

This property was so perfect. Each morning there is a beautiful sunrise and we woke up to the sounds of the lake. The house was very clean and organized and we had everything we needed! I would recommend this home to anyone!

Peaceful Family Weekend

Amazing Property With Beautiful View

Shelly was such an amazing host. The property was gorgeous, right on the water with beautiful sandy beaches. There was plenty of amenities, like bonfire pits, canoes, beach nets etc. it was a great time for my friends and family and we are 100% coming back! Highly recommend!

Our 5th year staying, and just as fun as the first! The kids, ages 5, 5, and 3, played for hours on the beach and in the water. We had absolutely perfect weather, which made our vacation even better. Shelly was great, as always. Cannot recommend this place enough!

Beautiful Beach Vacation

Beautiful home right on the water with a wonderful beach! Clean and cozy perfect for our family of 7 adults and 2 kids with room to spare. There was a lovely kitchen to cook meals in, games, beach volleyball, fire pit, ample outside and inside seating. Very close to all Tawas has to offer. Property manager Shelly was easy to get ahold of and attentive. Highly recommend!

The house is fabulous! It has everything we need. Celebrated 13th Girls vaca! Had great weather for September: beach days, full moon, lunar eclipse, bonfires, saw an eagle a few times and the northern lights. Shelly is a great host. Thank you. =)

What a wonderful home, great location with the beach just outside the back door. The kitchen was well stocked with all you would need for preparing most meals. Beds were very comfortable, as were the living room furniture. Having two bathrooms worked out well for our group. Plenty of towels and bedding. Looking forward to heading back in Spring or Late summer.

Wonderful Long Weekend Getaway

We rented this house with my family of 4 kids along with my parents. We scheduled it in the middle of September and the place was absolutely perfect. The water was clear and warm, perfect for swimming. Very sandy with a long sandbar. We utilized the floating lily pad on the water (kids loved) and the outdoor seating and firepit. The house was charming and cottage like but plenty updated and big enough for all of us. The kids liked the bunkbeds and bumper pool. The views from the family room were unbelievable - we were up early every morning looking at the sunrise. Can't wait to rent again.

Paradise on Lake Huron!

This property is stunning. Located on a beautiful stretch of sandy Lake Huron beach. House is well laid out and had everything we needed for our party of 10 (6 adults/4 kiddos). The home in person is even better than the photos. We didn’t need to contact Shelly for anything but she did check in with us halfway through our stay. Back room could use a little more air circulation but the rest of the home stayed a comfortable temperature during the mid-70 degree weather we had all week with the open windows and fans. Thank you for sharing your home with our family this summer!

Girls getaway

Five of our longtime friends for over 40 years had a beautiful getaway on this beautiful home on Lake Huron. The house was exceptional, Shelly our host responded within the hour when I had questions. She even allowed for us to have an early check-in. The view was absolutely amazing!! The house had every amenity that we needed. We cooked most of our meals in the house. Would have loved to have used their kayaks, but it was windy and cool a few of the days. Watched the sunrise on the last morning , that was spectacular. I would highly recommend staying if you have a chance.

Great beach house, skimpy on supplies etc.

Wonderful house that’s pretty pricey for the east side of the state—but it’s spacious and well set up and has an amazing amazing beach. (Though the two smaller bedrooms are pretty small and a little stuffy, but the primary bedroom is big with AWESOME beach views.) AND DO NOTE: the owners don’t provide beach chairs (they really should) though you can drag the big, heavy Adirondack chairs from the fire pit; AND—I’ve never before stayed at a high-end rental like this that didn’t provide you with all the basic supplies you need for day-to-day living: You have to bring your own toilet paper and your own garbage bags!! What??!!? The owners could definitely afford to make the house a little more user-friendly as far as that goes—maybe even providing things like shampoo and beach towels?! It was enough of an inconvenience that we will likely check out other houses in the area for next summer, though we’d consider renting this one again if the price drops a little…

Great Gathering Spot

Our family recently enjoyed staying at this lovely cottage. It is well appointed with a lot of nice amenities. There was plenty of seating, which was appreciated as we have stayed at places where the main living and dining areas do not seat the number of people the house sleeps. The decor is tasteful and relaxing. The house is open with a lot of space to spread out for a larger family. The house is much roomier (main rooms) than the listing photos show. The owner is very accommodating and helpful and very quick to respond to any question. Easy, no nonsense check-in and check-out procedures. The weather was fairly cold and windy with some rain during our stay so we didn't spend a lot of time on the beach. It's a nice beach with soft sand and we came away with some beach glass, some fossils and some shells to remember our trip by. Don't hesitate to stay in this lovely cottage. A couple of caveats for future guests: If you are planning on eating in for most of your stay; there are no empty cupboards in the kitchen to store food. The master bedroom closet is large and I used that as my pantry for our stay. The seating in the main living area is low and soft, hard to get out of for "mature" guests. The sunrises were bright and beautiful. That said, it might be a nice addition to add filtering blinds or shades to the main living room windows to soften the effect of the sunlight. We had a wonderful stay at this vacation rental! The place was very clean and well-maintained. It's conveniently located close to great restaurants, which made dining out easy. The beds were super comfortable, and the shower was modern and refreshing. One of the highlights was watching the beautiful sunrise each morning, truly breathtaking. This was our second time staying at this beautiful home right on Lake Huron. They made some really beautiful updates to the home. Beautiful style and most of all the view is spectacular. Shelley, the host is very accommodating and answers your email/texts very promptly. Myself and four of my best friends had a fabulous girls getaway!
