Windjammer is one of seven cottages that make up Anchorage Cottages, a small beachfront community on Lake Huron between Oscoda and Harrisville — Michigan's Sunrise Coast. Two bedrooms, a futon in the living room, room for four to sleep comfortably and five in a pinch.

The cottage itself doesn't sit right on the water, but the shoreline is a short walk away, and every guest has access to the shared beachfront — fire pits, picnic tables, a charcoal grill, and beach seating.

The shoreline has rock barriers in place to prevent erosion, so young kids may need a hand getting into the water. Beach space is limited, but the view across Lake Huron holds up in every season.

Pets are welcome with prior approval — $25/night. Dogs should be potty-trained and under 50 lbs; if yours is bigger, reach out and we'll see what we can do. Please clean up after your pet and keep them leashed in shared spaces.
