Summary:
Rustic charm + Modern amenities. Our 1930's Cabin rests atop one of the most sought after view corridors at the lake. Over 100 feet above the water offering views of local Firework shows, gorgeous sunsets and a spectacular vantage point when there is activity on the lake. Nestled away in the wilderness, peaceful days and nights are many. Located in the heart of Osage Beach with nearby lake access, steak house and wine bar.

The Neighborhood:
The neighborhood is very quiet. Most of the occupied cottages are owned by our family and we often stay in neighboring cabins. Permanent residences nearby with amenities being renovated for next summer. Occasional passerby walking a dog or out for a leisurely stroll.

Getting Around:
There is a local marina nearby with food, docks, launching ramp and boat rental. Taxi Service + Uber are in the area for hire.

Other Things to Note:
This property is owned by two loving families that call the cabin home on occasion. Please take care of it as if it were your own.

*TV programming is accessible via Firestick & Youtube TV. Guests will have the ability to log into their own accounts(Netflix,Hulu, etc.) as desired.
The Alexa Fire Stick remote is the only remote needed to control all apps.

Interaction with Guests:
We live locally and are available if needed. Our preferred method of contact is via VRBO messaging. We are always happy to assist our guests!

Beautiful Getaway

It was so peaceful and relaxing. Wonderful view of the lake and we had deer visit us every night. The cabin was perfect. We would definitely go there again!

Incredible Views

The cottage was perfect, the view from the balcony was just fantastic. A very comfortable stay. Our highlight was hiking around the Ha Ha Tonka State Park and tacos by Bagnell Dam. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Absolutely the most perfect little cottage! Clean and well equipped for our stay. The porch was wonderful! Michael’s Steak Chalet had an amazing steak, highly recommend. Just the perfect getaway spot for a couple.

This cabin was perfectly located and had one of the best views of the lake. Even though the weather was not ideal the view and cozy cabin made up for it. The setup is simple but has all your basic needs and updated features. It was conveniently distanced from local attractions and amenities. Communication was easy and prompt with the host. I would stay here for another weekend getaway. ay.

Greatest view

A wonderful little cabin overlooking a beautiful section of Lake of the Ozarks . The deck was a wonderful place to sit and watch the activities and the sunsets . The cabin is very clean and looks newly renovated. It’s small but perfect for a couple . Our host was very attentive - a perfect get away !

The old Swiss Village is a great place to stay. Walking distance to the Wein Haus and to Michael’s Steak Chalet. We enjoyed the view from the covered deck. Look forward to returning.

My husband and I celebrated our 10yr anniversary at old swiss village and it was a perfect get-away. Amazing views and too many activities around to visit in one weekend. Would definitely recommend!

Quiet and Relaxing

We enjoyed a quiet weekend in our cabin. We enjoyed sitting in the deck watching the boats on the lake. The cabin was clean and with a well stock kitchen. It is a great place to relax.

Cabin 7 Swiss village

Absolutely hands down the best view at the lake! The cabin was perfect for our short getaway. Clean well furnished and the owners were there answering any questions immediately! Highly recommend for a peaceful getaway. Definitely will be back!

Beautiful lake view cabin!

My mom and I spent four wonderful days in "cabin 7" at the Lake of the Ozarks. We visited during the fall season, a particularly beautiful time of year at the lake, and the view from this cabin's large, covered deck capitalized on that view! Even inside, the large sliding glass doors provide for a panoramic lake view from the living room. Everything we could want was included, even shower gel in the bathroom. Kitchen was fully stocked, and the LP grill was clean and ready for great cookouts. This is definitely a property we will return to again soon!

Beautiful view

If you are looking for no frills, reasonable price and a wonderful view this is your place. We have stayed here twice, once in March and again in November. It’s nice and quiet and having Michaels Steak Chalet a stones throw away is perfect. I’m sure in the summer it’s crazy on the lake and some people think that’s fun and would probably love watching all the activity, but off season this was very relaxing. The trees in the fall were stunning!

View & Place

I’m sure the view has been specified hundreds of times as a great asset: with fall foliage starting to change, we had an awesome purview of a range of colors! The bed was fantastic (silly thing, I know). The stovetop was good: that island is well-placed. Couch and chair comfy, as well. As I had some work to accomplish, the internet service was ideal. So, for a place where we spent little time there, it was ideal!

What a wonderful place to stay! Everything there you need for a comfortable stay. Bed was VERY comfortable we both slept well. Great communication with Trevor and Chloe. So quite. Had deer eating close by every early morning. Would DEFINITELY stay here again.

What a great place to stay with history! The cabin was perfect for us! Very nicely updated and charming! And the sunsets off the porch were spectacular!! The location was perfect, close to Osage Beach and the boat ramp! The hosts were really great and made sure the cabin met our needs. We will definitely stay here again!
