Extremely ridiculous check in process. Sent to 3 different properties to check in via someone on WhatsApp who randomly messaged me. Delayed check in process by 1.5 hours. Hotel is not a hotel its rooms above a cafe. Room was dirty upon arrival, fridge was repulsive with mouldy products inside and mould on tray as shown to cafe staff. They then removed the fridge tray for us. Out of date products at breakfast on display. Woman kindly let us have some breakfast after 10am (10.05am) as we hadn’t slept due to noise within building suggestive of a brothel next door. Would not recommend this place and was also massively overpriced €150 embarrassing really as everywhere else we stayed was run and managed so well.

They should mention that there is no parking possibiliy at the Hotel, at least 5 to 10min by foot and it‘s not even allowed to unload in front of the Hotel.

Grande chambre située sur la place principale, beaucoup de style, bien décorée, frigo rempli à disposition. Très bon buffet de petit-déjeuner, seul le café n'est pas une réussite. Personnel compétent mais très discret... On a eu régulièrement du mal à obtenir un bonjour... Dommage ! Attention : le check-in s'effectue dans un autre hôtel à 20 minutes à pied du centre-ville. Un peu contraignant quand on est à pieds...

Einchecken war katastrophal

Schrecklicher Service beim Einchecken. Die Reception war wohl in einem anderen Hotel. Das Personal an der Bar konnte nichts machen. Sehr unprofessionell. Keine Informationen über den gratis Parkplatz, wo man parkieren kann. Mussten dann zusätzlich 20 Euro bezahlen.(öffentliches Parkhaus). Wir konnten zwar ins Zimmer, mussten dann eine Stunde und ein Viertel auf den Schlüssel warten. Nach 3-maliger Rücksprache via Whatspapp und 2-maliger Rücksprache an der Bar. Ein Sorry, das war alles. Wir konnten das weitere Programm nicht wie vorgestellt durchführen. Leider gab es auch keine Seesicht, wie im angepriesen. Ein sehr schönes Zimmer und sehr zentral gelegen. Schade, da fehlt einfach ein gutes Hotelmanagement. Alles angelernte Leute, die Betreuung benötigen. Sonst wäre es sicherlich toll gewesen.

Amazing location, amazing food.

Right in the centre of the Centro storico. In the central Piazza. Walk to the lake to take a swim in the morning. This hotel (and their restaurant Olina) do everything their own way. They are original, but everything they do works perfectly. Amazing breakfast on the Piazza. Please Don't dine anywhere else than Olina. (And try the Filete or the polpo grillata!!)

Orta - a little gen

Orta is a beautiful little town. Hotel was in the middle of the square perfect setting. Very quirky place. Cool but felt like they ran out of money when finishing refurbishment. Great breakfast.

Posizione centralisima sulla Piazza e camera molto bella e particolare; completamente differente dalle solite camere d'hotel abituati a vedere. Seppur una camera con una certa età, noi ne siamo rimasti affascinati.

Buona location proprio vicinissimo al lago ed all'imbarcadero dell'isola di San Giulio. Chek in da fare in un ufficietto un pò staccato dall'albergo (non indicato molto bene). Buona colazione con ottimi prodotti soprattutto le marmellate.

Family Wedding in Orta

The hotel was very well situated, but the reception itself was not in the hotel. After arrival it took me a little bit of time and stress to find the reception, but the room was (almost) worth the money I paid. There is only a few things I would change about the room itself. With the minimal features I understand there being very low floor beds, but I can't reconcile the fact that there were no seats. Having a bad back I found this particularly troublesome, getting up and down off of the bed was hard .... as was attempting to fasten my footwear. Also, the showers (yes, plural, there are 2 side by side) are not entirely enclosed meaning that the floor surrounding the shower area was soaked and presented a danger. The hotel staff however were polite and friendly; the continental buffet was fresh and varied (cake and apple pie included); general cleanliness was good to excellent. I would recommend staying in the hotel if you have cause to be in Orta, San Giulio. Be aware though that there is a language barrier and most locals appreciate even an attempt at speaking Italian.

Center of town, but funky renovations in old bldg.

Staff pleasant and helpful, as they manage 3 properties. Don't rely on GPS as roads are very narrow and two way. Hotel situated on the central piazza, good for eating, shopping and access to ferry, but late eating crowds can make lots of noise if you plan to sleep early. Hotel very old and rooms renovated in modern design. Our bed was a king sized soft futon, which was not so comfortable. Our shower appeared to be added on, and was on one of the walls in the corner of the living room/bedroom. No closet, but a few shelves in the room for clothing. Breakfast was an unexpected feast! Cereals, meats, cheeses, quiches, hard boiled eggs, fruit, yogurt, coffee, espresso machine, juices and a variety of coffee cakes. Here, the hotel was outstanding!

Kreatives Boutique Hotel mit Entwicklungspotenzial

Wir waren lediglich eine Nacht dort, daher ist es eher schwer, eine komplette Beurteilung zu erstellen. Meine Bewertung leitet sich daher aus dem "ersten Eindruck" ab. Die Zimmer sind kreativ und mit Liebe eingerichtet, man hat auch versucht, Designelemente zu verwenden, was zwar hübsch anzuschauen, aber in der Umsetzung leider in die sprichwörtliche Hose gegangen ist. Beispiel dafür: die Dusche mitten im Zimmer mit futuristisch gebogenem Rohr, aus dem an der Längsseite das Wasser herauskommt sieht echt klasse aus - leider ist der Spritzschutz bzw. die Glasscheibe, die als solcher gedacht ist, an der falschen Stelle und das Wasser spritzt beim duschen ins Zimmer..:o/..Wäre die Glasscheibe an der Längsseite und um 90 Grad gedreht, wäre alles super! Als kleines Schmankerl war der Deckel der Toilette schräg abgebrochen - sah aus wie Kunst, die Bruchstelle war aber messerscharf und damit auch nicht wirklich spaßig....das Bett war fantastisch groß und superbequem, leider kamen wir nicht viel zum schlafen, da in der Bar direkt unter unserem Zimmerfenster bis in den Morgen gefeiert und getrunken wurde...

Dieses Hotel versucht sich von anderen zu unterscheiden. Und schafft es im positiven Sinne. Nette Ideen, nicht das übliche Einerlei, verbunden mit guter Qualität. Das Frühstück ist wunderbar und bereits inklusive. Achtung: autofreie Stadt!

Chambre spacieuse mais pas pratique. Très peu d'éclairage, finitions très sommaires. Locaux un peu négligés. Situation géographique idéale même si on aurait apprécié qu'on nous prévienne qu'il n'y avait pas d'accès possible en voiture. Personnel tout juste aimable.

Super hôtel :-)

La chambre était très grande et l'idée de la douche dans la chambre (sans porte) est vraiment originale et super ! L'hôtel est vraiment très bien situé au milieu du village d'Orta et c'est un endroit vraiment authentique et entourés de commerces et de restaurants. Le restaurant Piccolo Hôtel Olina est à proximité et c'était vraiment délicieux et un super service avec le personnel quadrilingue. Orta est vraiment un endroit magnifique et idéal pour promenades romantiques et découvertes de produits locaux excellents (vins, huiles, pâtes, fromages , ...) :-)
