The staff are very kind and helpful and the location is convenient.

Incredible staff makes the stay what it is

I have stayed in this hotel many times, when staying overnight in Manchester. It is a modern hotel, with good sized rooms and in a convenient location near to Oxford Rd railway station. On this occasion check in was poor. The room was not ready at 15:00pm. Also, wasn't given the 20% drinks discount that Expedia VIP membership is supposed to provide. Was unfortunate that the stay coincided with Halloween - parties went on well into the early hours with the street noise, police sirens and car horns blaring out. The sound proofing of the room was abysmal - meaning we had a very poor nights sleep. Obviously external celebrations are not the hotel's fault - but if you want a quiet night's sleep - perhaps not the hotel to choose. The other problem - the pillows were like bricks. I think these may be a new feature, as I don't recall this being a problem on previous visits. I don't particularly appreciate trying to sleep on something so hard. I did have a few more bookings for this hotel but have now cancelled owing to the pillows being so uncomfortable. I am unlikely to book this hotel again.

Clean abd comfortable room and a nice view from the 21st floor.

Staff tried very hard to get me an early check in as I had a video call and I saw that with others arriving and using the common work areas. Nice welcome at breakfast too.
