"Great place to stay"

"Very clean condo. Perfect if you have little ones, the beach view from the balcony was so nice. The neighbors are all very sweet. Had a little trouble with the code checking in, but the host was quick to help. We grilled every night downstairs by the pool which was awesome. The beach is so close and there were pool noodles in the closet that the kids were able to play with, and the beach towels were a great addition. Ormond beach is a nice quiet town. There was WiFi available, but it was very slow and didn’t work well. So if you’re planning on going there to work I would bring a hotspot. We tried to use the oven but it wasn’t heating up, which was fine because we used the grill downstairs. We woke up the second day with pretty bad bites on our body and were all itchy. I’m not sure for certain what caused the bites, but it made the trip a little uncomfortable. Other than that, it was a peaceful and beautiful stay."

"Did a 4 night stay with my family and we chose the perfect location. The house was clean, the beds were comfortable, checking in and out was easy. My family and I love to cook so it had everything we needed to make great meals and how great it was to have Publix at walking distance and the beach just 5-8 minutes away ( i walk slow).The location is perfect in a nice quiet neighborhood and I hope to return to this exact location next time I visit the Ormond/Daytona area. Definitely a 10/10"

"It’s a cute little house. The drapes and all surfaces, excluding the kitchen and bathroom were extremely dusty. The light fixtures had a lot of burnt out bulbs. I do not like the fact that I could not control the AC, it was set to 74. In Florida if the insulation is poor in the house and the AC unit is not the right size by 10/11 AM the inside of the house’s temperature will be 77-80 degrees. I have stage 4 COPD, chronic Asthma, and Neuro endocrine carcinoid tumor on my right lower lobe of my lung. Otherwise we had a nice time. Thank you. In this listing you only needed your clothes, food, and essential party needs."

"The place was nice but we had a few issues that just were a bit unacceptable. 1. I was made to pay damage insurance (never been required to do that before) and then there were signs all over with warnings like 50 if sand is left on chairs, 20/towel if you get makeup on them, etc. 2. The air was set to 72 and could not be changed. My son couldn’t sleep because he was drenched in sweat. There were fans in the rooms but they just circulated the warm air. I reached out to the host and was told that we could not go below 72 because the air conditioner would freeze. 3. One night we got a message that there was a mandatory kitchen inspection the next morning. The man who came in was super nice but asked if we had noticed anything wet. We mentioned that there was a musty mildew smell and he said that was because there was a leak under the sink and that we needed to dump the bucket of water (that was currently full) regularly. The last thing that did not sit well was that I just opened my messages after several days back and had a message that read “why did you leave dirty dishes in the dishwasher when we specifically told you not to?…” and had pictures of the dishes. First of all, I apologized for that because we thought we ran it. All of the other things on the list had been done and I thought this was an aggressive way to handle that."
