Amazing Villa

Loved this place!! The pool was nice and the beds were comfortable! It was nice having three bathrooms and this house had a lot of space!! Will definitely book here again!

Delightful, except ...

Delightful except for the location of the property documents - hidden in the shag (not an american description of a room). Would recommend putting a copy on the counter in the kitchen. We waited 4 days to figure out there was WIFI ... otherwise delightful! We would stay there again.

Great stay

Great place. Had a great time and easy to get around. Everything was good but there are some things that need upgrading like the master bedrooms bed very hard and makes lots of sounds when moving a bit. Need new blinds on doors to pool. And this garbage day thing is a pain in the butt needing to be back before 6 pm to bring the bins up or you may be fined. So on the Monday and tuesdays we had to rush back from the parks to make sure we didn’t get fined. The last thing is that they have thermostat locked at 74 and a few night it was really cold and we couldn’t turn off the air or turn it up to stay warmer. For the price people pay the thermostat should NOT be locked.

Really great for the price.

The price was just right for the property. Everyone had plenty of room. The place was clean inside and out. There is a lot of echo inside. There are family pictures up around the place. We had e few issues. We paid extra for the hot tub to be heated and it wasn't. Some of the dishes and pans were dirty and there were ants in the kitchen. The trash can and recycle can outside were completely full and the trash can had a busted wheel so it was a pain to drag it to the curb. Due to a sprinkler head being busted the ground was super soggy so it was a muddy mess around the cans. The sprinklers also are not maintenanced very good and they were spraying on the walkway to the front door so I got soaked coming in one day. They had written down that there were alarms on the doors to the pool and messing with them could result in a fine but they were all disabled and some of the blinds on the sliding glass doors were broken. The neighborhood was great. It was weird thow that the neighbors were staring at us and deliberately watching us when we were outside in the pool. We were not even being load or doing anything abnormal. We relayed the information to the host and they acknowledged it and responded fast. They sent someone out to fix the busted water head sprinkler and they said they would let the trash company know about the busted wheel on the cans. The host seems great and I'm pretty sure these small things will get resolved. The area was great. Not too far from anything at all.

BE VERY CAREFUL AT THIS VACATION SPOT Not Everything you Want?

Stayed for a week in March. This place is to far to go to Disney or Universal at opening & closing times. Times on site show travel times in LIGHT traffic. Triple the time at opening & closing. Buy a bag of Ice....no ice maker. The POOL was leaking enough that I had to add water at LEAST once a day from a garden hose. Therefore water was not treated properly and became a little dirty. The doors were very sticky so we only used the living room door to the pool area. The blinds had about a half dozen slats that came off upon opening them every-time. No detergent or soap for the first evening, One small bar or pod would be nice for the vacationer. The place itself was in a nice private location. So we did enjoy the pool area as it was nice other than the leak. BE CAREFUL OF The FOLLOWING HAPPENING TO YOU IF YOU RENT The big issue was. We arrived around 4, The place had only been vacated since early that morning, We unpacked and then I went to pull the car into the garage. I went in the garage, pressed the up button and the garage door broke. We phoned the agent. He came out to help & said we should have unlocked the large double garage door before pushing the up button. IT WOULD HAVE MADE SENSE TO LET US KNOW THAT BEFORE WE ARRIVED ,AS THEY GAVE INSTRUCTIONS ON EVERYTHING ELSE. Then the agent said it was not our fault as "How would we no it was locked" However, after saying that he recommended to the British owner that we pay the bill to have the garage door fixed. I have rented places every winter in California, Florida and Arizona & I have NEVER had a garage door locked upon arrival. Also, the UP button should not be powerful enough to open the door part way when it is LOCKED. DON'T KNOW WHETHER THE DOOR WAS BROKEN BEFORE HAND & THIS IS HOW IT WAS PAID FOR! I just thought I would put a warning on this site for other vacationers. BE AWARE Lorne P.

Great house, lots of room for everyone

My group of 5 stayed at this house the week of Thanksgiving 2021 and our ages ranged from 22-67. We had a blast during our stay and we loved the house. The house is large and spacious and had enough room for everyone to be able to spread out and do whatever they wanted. People were sitting outside on the patio by the pool reading, writing, drawing, playing on phones, eating, etc. while others were inside sleeping, showering or playing on their phones. Only 1/5 of us even got in the pool which was very disappointing since I paid for the pool/spa heat but it got pretty chilly every night and the high's only reached around 68-72 daily and the lows got really low for FL like 48-58 and that was too cold to want to swim since the pool/spa are not really warm. My daughters and I did use the spa but just note that the spa water is "warm" but not "hot" like a hot tub usually gets so if that is something that is a "must" for you then you may want to keep looking. The master bathroom has a great garden tub and a separate shower so I was really happy with that and my mom's friend stayed in the bedroom to the left of the entryway which is a decent ways from everyone else so that room and the master bedroom are very private. In the right corner of the house off of the kitchen you have two bedrooms and a bathroom. All 4 beds are single beds so 4 people could easily use those beds and share the 1 bathroom. My mother had a room with 2 twin beds and just used the 2nd bed for her "stuff" and my girls shared the other twin BR. The BR that is off to the left when you first enter the house has it's own bathroom and shower and the Master BR of course has a garden tub and a shower (separated by a door in between; the toilet is next to the shower in it's own area). The house is very spacious and we really loved staying here. Really, we don't have any complaints and anything we were concerned about the owner quickly got back to us and advised us on it. The owners are absolutely terrific with communication. Oh, btw, we also loved the ROKU and signed onto our HULU accounts daily to stay caught up on a few of our shows so thank you owners for having ROKU! We stayed at Indian Shores on the Gulf the following week and had a condo and they did not have any way for us to watch HULU and we were so upset! We also REALLY missed the house because the condo was so small. Everyone LOVED this house so much and we took a ton of photos. We would absolutely stay again.

schönes Haus in einer ruhigen Gegend

Easy check-in Clean house Great neighborhood Tons of kitchen supplies and towels for the pool Everything about this house exceeded our expectations. The pool area is basically heaven on earth, and the rest of the house has everything you could possibly need. There is even a new sectional couch in the living room that wasn’t originally pictured which made our downtime even more comfortable. But all of that said, it wasn’t even the best part. The quick communication and helpfulness of the home owners was better than I’ve ever experienced in any of my stays. We will definitely be booking again! Highly recommend. You won’t be disappointed!

Favorite so far!

Location is perfect and close to anything you could possibly want. Home is comfortable and the pool area along with the home have been beautifully maintained. I have exactly 12 minutes left in my stay and my only complaint is that I didn’t make my stay longer.

EXCELLENT VALUE

This was our second stay this year. We opted for the pool and spa heat. An excellent choice for the time of year. The property is an a quiet estate with views at the back to natural woodland, Squirrels and rabbits plentiful. The house has 3 bathrooms so as we were 3 adults we could have in effect 3 en suites. The property is as described. The location means that you can avoid the infamous I-4 by using backroads. We hope to stay there again next year

Florida again !

As we did three years ago, we really enjoyed our stay at Bridgewater Crossing. We especially like the pool area with the beautiful view and spent a lot of time outside. Since we already knew the house, we felt right at home and the holiday could begin immediately. Thanks to Nia and Dafydd for the hospitality and the nice contact. Amazing

What an amazing stay we have had! Just come back from a 2 weeks stay. We have stayed in many villas around the area before over the years, but this was a hidden gem! Staying at this modern, fully equipped, clean and fantastically located villa has been a delight. Nia and Dafydd (owners) have been great answering any questions we had. When we had questions about the hot tub jets and heat, they responded quickly and described how the hot tub is more of a spa, and when turned on directs hot water into it, with a couple of jets with bubbles. We found that it takes about 20-30 mins to get to a warm/hot level, but once you get the knack of it, it's great., we were in it there every evening. We would definitely stay again.

Overall the property was very similar to others we've rented in the past and served its purpose. Positives: lovely outside area, large deck and nice pool. Nice neighbourhood. Plenty of outside furniture. Not overlooked with a lovely view of the lake. Negatives: current level of construction work locally made the journey to/ from the parks a right pain. Hurricane/ storm emergency box is woefully inadequate. We were caught up in the threat from Hurricane Ian and had to rely on instructions from relatives and purchase essential emergency items. Cleaning contractor needs reviewing, on arrival a blood stained wet bedsheet was in washing machine, laundry was still in the drier, used coffee filter still in machine.

Beautiful villa, great location

After a roadtrip of a week through Florida, we were so happy coming ‘home’ to this wonderful villa with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Finally some space for the four of us. We enjoyed the location: a very quiet street with a view from the terrace/pool onto a small lake and forest. No neighbours at the back of the property facing you which gives you even more the feeling of privacy. We went to theme parks almost every day. We could take the I4 West, however if there is a traffic jam, there are convenient ways to bypass this because of the good network of roads nearby. We relied on google maps which was excellent. Supermarkets, restaurants, fastfood chains, cinema… all are so close! The layout of the villa, the well equipped kitchen and décor (good beds with nice bedding, nice leather sofa to watch tv, …) were fantastic. We were sad to leave after our stay of 9 nights and would definitely recommend this house to visitors of the area. Thank you for your hospitality Nia and Dafidd!

Nice Home With Beautiful Pool

My teen daughter and I stayed at this property mid July /22. We really loved the house and pool, and would definitely stay there again. Pros: - The swimming pool and patio area are so beautiful and relaxing (the photos really don't do it justice). There is sun from about 8:30am to early evening. - It is a very quiet/private community. The backyard faces onto a large pond, with green foliage all along the back. There are neighbours on either side, but there is a fence on one side, and a good 50' between the other neighbour. Meaning that you don't even really notice when the other neighbours are out. - The house has a good layout, and a very large family area. - There are plenty of gas stations and 7-11's in the area (for those slurpee cravings) - We had a slight issue with the air conditioning when we were there, and the property managers were on it immediately! Cons - Traffic. This is more for informational purposes than a "con" about the house. Where this community is, it is really easy to get in and out. However, traffic on the major roads in the area during rush hour can be a bit of a pain. But having said that, this location is better than other communities in the area that are closer to the parks (ie. north along Lake Wilson Road), as it looked like it was difficult to get out of them, due to the high volumes of traffic. Overall, this is a really nice rental. I would recommend it to anyone.
