Vacation Disaster
The property was disgusting....dirty dishes, pans with food in them on the stove top, stains on the couches and kitchen table chairs, bug feces in a kitchen drawer, cockroaches all over the place, patio furniture very run down looking, screen porch over pool had holes and was missing an entire panel, kitchen floor sticky, master bed looked slept in and the sheets looked dirty, bedding in other rooms didn't look fresh, front walk way to house full of weeds and overgrown, food in the refrigerator, etc. I could go on and on. I stayed in the house the first night because it was too late to make alternate arrangements. When the rest of my family arrived the next day, we went to a hotel and then made other arrangements for the rest of the week. We are demanding our money back because the experience was so horrible that it ruined the remainder of our vacation. The amount of cockroaches we saw in the house was serious cause of health concerns had we stayed in the house. The property host was extremely dismissive and has no intention of refunding our money.
We will most likely not use VRBO anymore....unless our money is refunded.
