Great stay!

We payed the extra for the pool heat and it was so worth it. The resort was ok but it was difficult to find a place to sit with our group. Most of our stay we used the pool at the house instead. Quiet/safe neighborhood. Overall a great stay!

Amazing Pool Area, Spacious Home & Perfect Location

We had a fantastic time! The pool area was excellent, with plenty of comfortable furniture and a nice shaded space to relax. The spa was so relaxing, and we especially loved the extra gaming lounge — a fun bonus! The master bedroom and bathroom were huge, offering plenty of space and comfort. We also enjoyed the Solterra Resort amenities — the lazy river was a big hit with the kids. We much preferred staying in Davenport over Kissimmee — so much less traffic, and still incredibly convenient. All roads lead to Disney from here! Highly recommend this home for families looking for fun, space, and a stress-free location.

Dance world's comp home

This was the best home to stay in. We enjoyed the pool and amenities at sol terra. Easy access to dance competition at Coronado springs and we had easy drive to beaches on gulf side and the Atlantic. Disney and sea world were a quick drive. Close to groceries and gas.Thank you for making it easy to check-in and out.

Amazing experience

We were so last minute at finding a place to stay for President’s day weekend but I was able to find this house on a Friday and reserve it for that weekend. We were able to do early check in Saturday morning and the house was phenomenal. The whole process was a breeze and the house was beautiful. Would certainly consider booking this same house again!

Nicely decorated!

Only issue we had was with the pool heater not working, they sent someone to fix it and still didn’t work. But they refunded my money. Also, the pool alarm on the door is a little annoying but helps when you have little kiddos staying. We would stay again, loved how it was decorated!

Great family getaway! Loved the house!

The house is beautiful, clean and great for keeping Family entertained. The pool area was thoroughly enjoyed and we appreciated all the lounge chairs as well as dinning and conversation areas. You had full sun or shade options!! Our young adults and grown adults enjoyed the game room with a pool table. We did not try the air hockey or darts, some of the darts were broken. But it was nice having the TV especially with March madness games going on. We all hung out in the upstairs gaming room to watch a movie on the big screen, one night and some spent an evening playing poker. If our boys would have been younger, they would’ve loved the Xbox games! I did not realize all the bedrooms have their own toilet and sink area with a separate shared shower space between bedrooms. That was an added bonus for all of us! I only docked the management portion because we had reached out to them about help with the Roku service on our upstairs bedroom TVs. They said they would come over the next day, but they actually didn’t show up until the day before we were leaving. And I think that was from a push from the homeowner after I reached out to her. However, I do like the fact that they pick up trash every day and the added community center pool and fitness room is awesome. We did not take advantage of them as much as I thought we would, because we were enjoying our own home and other parts of Florida. But if you have younger kids, I think this would be a huge perk. I do wish there was a second entrance to the neighborhood because we really got backed up a couple times coming home. The homeowner was quick to respond to any questions or inquiries we had, and very easy to work with.

Mixed experience

We stayed in early July 2021. We had a mixed experience and won't return. Some aspects of the home were good, others were not. Upon arrival the house wasn't ready by 4pm (it took until after 6pm) because the previous renters had left an absolute disaster that took extra time to clean. After living in the neighborhood for a week we are not surprised. This appears to be an entire development of homes that are rented for partying. I certainly wouldn't want to bring a family of young children for a week here. The area is loud until all hours of the morning, other renters are rude and inconsiderate (parking all over the place, leaving garbage to rot on the front lawns, etc.). The house itself - The good: The kitchen is well appointed and everything worked. The house is large and spacious with several places for people to be. The pool area is large and there is a very nice awning that provides much-needed shade. The bad: This is obviously a house that is for rental only, and the people that own it have never actually lived in it. The furniture might look nice in the pictures, but it is not at all comfortable. There are TV's in every room, but they are driven completely by Wi-Fi and some of them can't even get a Wi-Fi connection, so they are useless. One TV had no remote control and no buttons on the TV either. There is an XBox in the upstairs game room, but we couldn't figure out how to get the TV to recognize it (and I'm VERY handy with that kind of thing) and after asking for help from the management company twice and getting confused responses we gave up. The darts on the dart-board in the garage don't appear to be made for that dart-board, so that was useless as well. There are also 3 bedrooms that all have the same ceiling fan and light combination, and all 3 remotes control all 3 fans - so turning on the light in one room actually turns it off (or on) in the others. Just ridiculous... The garbage situation is a nightmare. It is supposedly picked up every day from the boxes in front, but it seems they will only pick it up if its neat and tidy in closed bags. If not, they leave it. Therefore you have houses all over with garbage strewn all over the lawn because it wasn't bagged properly and raccoons got to it. We spent an hour on day 2 cleaning the one at our house because it was left full of garbage that the garbage men wouldn't pick up and flies infested it. For what we paid we can do much better.
