Cute Cottage

Little Getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very comfortable. Loved that each room had a bathroom. My family enjoyed the 2 living spaces. Kitchen was well-equipped. Clean and neat. Uncluttered. Beautiful furnishings. The only thing I would change would be the number of large bath towels. We were 8 people and there were only 6 large bath towels.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was very spacious for our family. There is one bedroom on the first floor and two bedrooms on the second floor. Each bedroom has a full bathroom. There is a half bathroom off the kitchen/dining area which was very convenient. There is a living room off the kitchen and a separate living room upstairs with a pull out couch bed. Off the living room upstairs there is a balcony. There is also an upstairs laundry. This house was very clean and about a 10 minute walk to the pool. Loved the resort. Very close to all the parks. Resort will shuttle you to certain ones if needed. Grocery stores are very close drive. I would rent this house again. The only complaint is the bath towels are very small and thin. They also shed fuzzies everywhere when drying your body off. We called and requested new towels. The rental company’s customer service told us they would swap them out the next day for us but they never did. Thought that was poor customer service. We almost went to buy our own bath towels at the store across the street but we decided to just deal with the unpleasant experience. We had more family in a different house on the same street and they had better towels, probably just the luck of the draw.

Nice overall, few weak spots

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cottage was clean and large. Furniture is starting to show dirt and age. I’d say the furniture wasn’t made for rental use. Edges of the furniture were discoloured from dirt. Sofa is really soft. One of the burners on the stove didn’t work and lack of cooking materials were a negative. Resort was nice, service was great.

Nice Home

Our socks were covered in dirt after five minutes of walking around. The dryer was also broken, but they sent someone out to fix it within a day, and they took our clothes to dry them. The cottage is also somewhat far from the resort compared to many others. Overall, this was still a nice place to stay.

Family Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My experience with Margaritaville Resort Cottages exceeded my expectations. The cottages were new, well maintained, and clean. The area felt safe and the lawns were well manicured. Unfortunately I was disappointed in the attention we received from the resort staff regarding the appliances. Our drier in the cottage did not work. After two failed maintenance request, the resort staff would not provide us with any additional towels. Even after we had bought more towels to get through the weekend. Over my family enjoyed our experience however I would highly recommend more attention be given to customers when things within. The cottage are not working properly.

Winter Escape

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property was really nice but there were several small issues that could have easily been corrected that would have made the stay so much better. The king bed had a queen sized fitted sheet on it, which caused it to come off each night during the night. Insufficient toilet paper in the bathrooms resulted in relocation of remaining paper to bathrooms that had run out as guests returned home and a bathroom was no longer in use. A non-functioning coffee maker in the kitchen was not replaced even though a request was made for a replacement. Most of the lamps were missing the light bulb, so were not usable - the property must have a general "one working lamp per room" policy. :>( The kitchen overall was well stocked from a pots/pans, dishware, utensils perspective but severely lacking in other ways. Basic kitchen necessities like salt, pepper, sweetener/creamer packets, aluminum foil, etc. were not present and required a trip to the store and the purchase of excessive quantities for the stay (which I've assumed were tossed out after we left). Oh, and no trash can in the kitchen, although the trash was required to be bagged bagged before placing in the outdoor trash container - only two trash bags were provided for a five night stay with 6 people in the house, so those bags were filled rather quickly. On the bright side, the frozen concoction machine worked really well!

Nice with Some Limitations for Living

Reviewer Comments: Because our new home construction was running over schedule we booked this cottage for our family Christmas with our 2 grown daughters and their spouses, and baby grandson. The house was clean and lovely, and a good size for us. We did enjoy ourselves, being close enough to walk to the pools and enjoy the resort without being disturbed by any noise. It seems most people renting must not really cook because we found the kitchen lacking for our needs, although it had more than enough wine and margarita glasses for a large party - which we didn't need. The stove's front right burner (large one) did not operate at all. There were no dishtowels and no can opener. Fortunately we had brought our own pots for my husbands specialty dinners because the supplied pots weren't adequate to prepare a meal for 6 adults. Despite those limitations, there was enough room for eating our meals and social time in the house which we did enjoy a lot! The biggest shortcoming I want to mention is that the dryer hookup doesn't allow for effective drying although I did bring extra towels knowing this from prior reviews. Our laundry loads took 3 or 4 cycles to completely dry the clothes. This alone might be enough to keep me from returning to this particular rental because we did need to do laundry. The tv in the upstairs secondary bedroom wouldn't connect to the cable. We got all the other tvs to work properly, but this one did not connect. All in all we found our stay enjoyable and truly enjoy the atmosphere at Margaritaville.

We will be back every year

Margaritaville Never Disappoints

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Love staying at the Margaritaville cottages. They are all new with no carpets. This has been our favorite unit so far. Being one of the larger ones we all had space to stretch out without being on top of each other. The laundry on the second floor was excellent. Location is great just minutes from Disney. Very happy with our experience.

Do not stay here!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We left mid stay and would not recommend staying here! -we had a decal on the side of our vehicle and the second night we had a sticker on the window stating we would be towed at 10am if we did not move because if this decal. (Luckily we noticed this at 9:52 am). We were told to park 1 mile away and walk with 3 young kids. We questioned it with mgt, front desk, security, and nobody knew what they were talking about. -there was not a garbage can anywhere to be found in the kitchen. -no soap in the half bath or toilet paper holder. -very little toilet paper in the entire house that sleeps 8 for a week.-we bought our own soap, and would have purchased TP if we stayed the full week. -hard to email a photo of condition at checkin. There was damage that I was concerned we would be blamed for. Pros: -comfortable beds-good location to hwy & attractions - good sized pantry, fridge, etc.

Great Stay But Had An Issue

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First, the place was totally Great. Plenty of room 3 1/2 bathrooms, great kictchen nice furniture and plenty of tv's. 3 full bedrooms an uptairs area for the kids to hang out and a balcony as well. The issue we had was with the dryer. It was not working very well at all. It would take nearly 6 hours to dry just 5 bath towels and 5 wash towels. We had to do towels every day because ther was only enough for one day. The office sent a someone to look at it and we were told it was working correctly, that we were most likely overloading it, that amount of towels would not in any way overloaded the dryer. So the problem was never fiexd and my wife was up until 1 or 2 am in the morning restarting the dryer after each of its 80 minute cycle ended so we would have partially dried towels for the next day. I asked the office to please send us extra towels to get us through the remainder of our stay, which was three more days and they sent us 6 more bath towels,thats it no wash towels at all. Enough for one day only, which meant we would have to continue our late night towel drying party. WE really want to come back next year but I'm concerned that management did not address our concern regarding this issue to help our stay be much better.
