Family Vacation

Our stay at this property was excellent, from check in to check out. close to Disney world and universal studios Orlando fl. short drive to beach. close to many shopping centers and restaurants. gated community. We will stay here again , next visit.

Good clean rental, good safe location

Great location for Disney parks. Clean, spacious, good property security and amenities. A few small quibbles - there were only two hand towels and 5 Bath towels for the five of us, and no washcloths. There was no hand soap at all in either bathroom. Finally, the property manager should really add more towel racks or hooks to hang towels, robes, etc in the bathrooms. Otherwise a comfortable, safe property and we’d stay there again.

Not Great

The condo is as pictured. It is clean and comfortable. The beds were comfortable. The resort is quiet and a nice enough place to stay. Our issue was with communicating with the host. The only time we could get a response was during the week. We were told by the host that we would get codes to enter the gated property and condo door the morning of our arrival. Saturday. We got to Orlando and still had no codes. We tried multiple ways to get ahold of the host. Phone calls - It went straight to voicemail and the message said the voicemail was not set up. We tried messaging through the app. No response. I also googled the company and called and left a message there too. We finally called VRBO Help center and they tried every way they could to contact the host. Nothing. VRBO had to put us up in hotels for two days before we got any response from the host. Finally on Monday they responded. In the end we got into the property and had the days we couldn't stay there refunded to us. We were also able to get 2 hours late checkout on our last day, which was nice. We were told it was a problem at VRBO's end, but I don't believe that. The host didn't have their phone set up, and no one was checking the system all weekend. That is not VRBO. Please check your system host. Test it on a weekend, so this doesn't happen to anyone else. Make sure your phone is turned on and the voicemail is working. The app worked just fine during the week, but not on the weekend? That is just someone not wanting to be bothered on the weekend. Take responsibility when you mess up. We liked the property, but we won't be using this host again.
