Smart TVs in all bedrooms and 80” in Family Room. Alexas linked throughout the house. Clothes steamer as well as iron & board. Air Fryer.
We provide every day crockery, formal dining ware, and outdoor dining ware, along with many little comforts that make the difference- such as fishing rods, lightweight strollers and other baby stuff. We have thought of everything from the Keurig to the Cheese grater!
There is a feeling of luxury and airy spaciousness in our lovely holiday home. The Vaulted Family room has a wall of patio doors [ alarmed for young children with high lock] overlooking the pristine pools and glittering lake, Formal Lounge for quieter moments,Formal Dining Room, large Fully Fitted Kitchen with Granite work tops, microwave, Air Fryer, dishwasher, large Fridge Freezer with filtered water/ice in door, garbage disposal etc, Sunny Breakfast Nook, Utility Room with large Washer and Dryer, Steamer, Iron and Ironing Board. Powder Room, 2 spacious Master Suites, with King size pillow top beds, one with private balcony [ideal for a sunny breakfast, or peaceful evening drink]. &one with Patio Doors onto Pool area. En-suite Bathrooms are spacious and airy, with his and hers Sinks, walk-in Robes, large luxury Bath Tub and separate Walk in Shower.

We are near enough for you to leave the hectic lunchtime crowds of Disney, and come back to the pool, returning in the cooler evening.

Fully Enjoyed our trip.

The location was very convenient- close to Disney. We elected to have the pool heater turned on - so the pool was very warm at the end of our stay. Had some problems with the washing machine - but they did have someone come to look at it within 2 days. We were able to use it some- had to "baby" it to get it to work. House was large & had most everyting that we needed.

Perfect for us!

The house was perfect for 2 families of 4 (kids 3, 6, 8). The 2 master suites were great. The kids would not stay out of the pool! And my husband had a lot of luck catching bass in the pond. The ride to the parks was fast. Any questions we had Susan responded very quickly! I love how the house was in a gated community, which allowed for just a bit more security. We will definitely be back again! Thank you

Relaxing getaway

Nice and clean home and property. The kitchen has everything you'd need! Furniture was comfortable, beds were ok. Really enjoyed the pool and that whole area, being able to enjoy a nice view of a pond! We did pay for the pool to be heated during our stay and it initially wasn't working. However, the property owner was very responsive and someone checked on it promptly and got it working. We received all of the needed codes to be able to get into the community and into the house, no issues there at all. All in all, we enjoyed our stay!

Quite Oasis with View of the Lake

Great location, near to Disney. The house feels like an oasis when you come home from a park visit or shopping and you can enjoy the quite of the surrounding. We enjoyed our breakfast in the kitchen dining area overlooking the lake. The kitchen was very well equipped, no shortage on tools. Enough towels and bedding. The weather was unusually cool, but the pool was heated to a comfortable warmth allowing us enjoying it. The owner reacted promptly to some issues we had with the door lock and bathrooms. The mattress in the second twin room is lumpy, not suitable for adults but might work for kids. We had a great time and enjoyed our stay, nevertheless the house would benefit from an update in certain areas.

Fantastic home and location.

An impressive home over looking a wonderful lake. The home is in a prime south facing position and benefits from all day sun. The swimming pool is large, and can be heated, to your own requirement's. The pool deck is sizeable, and can accommodate 8 people easily if needed. A plus for the fairer skinned among us there is plenty of shade if needed. The home is well decorated and has a good modern feel. The beds are comfortable and don’t suffer from dipping or the dreaded rolling into the middle syndrome! The TVs are smart technology with a good package. Alexia is on hand if you want to catch up with your local news or radio from home. The owner and Management company are very responsive. I reported a low battery alarm in a smoke detector. The battery was replaced inside of 4 hours of making the call. The lake offers wonderful bass fishing. There are fishing rods in the garage. All in all, a great home, close to the parks and many restaurants. As with all rental homes in the area a car is a must, there is plenty of parking, for two large cars.

Sunset lakes

We had a great 2 week vacation here. Communication was great with both Susan and the management company throughout. Location is amazing, lake front in a small quiet neighbourhood, so close to all the amenities and parks, a wee oasis to chill. The pool area was perfect with sun most of the day and looking out to the lake, absolute bliss. Would absolutely recommend for anyone looking to stay in this area.

Clean, spacious and perfect for a family

From the moment we booked to the day we left, the experience was positive in every way. It's quiet, but close to all attractions. Praise for the owner Susan and her team managing the villa cannot be high enough. A couple of tiny problems were sorted incredibly quickly and Susan responded with kindness and generosity to requests made.

Nice House

The house was great for our family and was just as described. It was close to Disney parks and we didn't feel like we were wasting a lot of time in the morning getting there. The house it located on a cold-de-sac, which was really quiet. The views were nice and peaceful out the back looking at the lake. Something I didn't see in the notes, but it was a nice surprise were fishing poles (in the garage) and if the weather was nicer, we might have used them. There were a few things that we had to follow-up with on the management team and the owner on, but they tried to resolve them while we were there. Overall it was a nice spacious home and we would stay here again.

Wonderful Disney Vacation

We really enjoyed our stay at Sunset Lakes. The house was exactly as expected, comfortable and updated. The host really did think of everything. The kitchen was well stocked, as was the house with plenty of sheets, towels (both shower and pool), bath mats, TV's, barbeque, etc. We had the pool heated during our stay, which was wonderful! After a busy park day, there is nothing better than an night swim in a not freezing pool (our stay was in Dec/Jan)! Although there was a small issue with the pool filter, the host and management company were very responsive, and handled it quickly. In fact, the host was quite wonderful throughout our stay, responding to questions very quickly. We loved the floorplan of this house, allowing comfortable space for everyone. The great room really set up nicely for great family time when we were at the house. We also had a number of family ping-pong matches in the garage. I would highly recommend this rental, and I will try to stay here again on our next Orlando vacation!

What A Property

My family and I stayed at Susan's property in late July 22. We had an amazing experience right from the time I booked back in March. Upon booking Susan immediately reached out to welcome us to her home. As I was a slacker and late on my 2nd installment she never waivered and was very understanding. JetBlue cancelled a couple of our flights delaying some of the party and others getting us in early. Susan allowed an early check-in. Once we were there the property was perfect. Much larger and roomier than the pictures could do any justice for. We were a family of 7 and there was more than enough room for all of us. The family had a great table tennis tournament on our last day at the property. Another welcome addition. The pool was perfect and outdoor furniture was extremely comfortable. I wish my time here was longer. I don't know if its in the add but there are newly upgraded Smart TV's in every bedroom and family room. Lastly, Kathlene at the management company was very responsive and on top of everything.

House and area where great.

House was great and the area is quiet considering you are not far from the main road. Pool was nice. The pool heating system was set to run for 12 hours then off for 12 hours in a 24 hour cycle. I e-mailed Susan and voiced our displeasure as she had promised us a heated pool for the entire 2 weeks. Shortly after the e-mail was sent a gentlemen showed up and changed the settings so the heater ran 24 hours per day. Called Property Management company to complain about Sugar Ants in the kitchen. An exterminator showed up a few hours later and the problem was solved. So all and all very happy with house and prompt service from home owner and Property Management company. E-mail instructions with codes for gated community and house access were clear. Unfortunately the WIFI information was incorrect. We noticed by chance the info written on a Mickey Mouse face that was hanging on the wall by the kitchen table. The information book is not up to date that was on the TV stand. We would stay here again.

The following info would have been helpful:

I was not provided the electric gate code prior to arriving. Also, only one of the two entrances into the neighborhood had an electric keypad. The alarm went off when we entered the house and I had not been provided the code to disable the alarm. It would have been nice to know that parking your car across the sidewalk, even though it was not in the street, was a towable offense. That information would have prevented a major inconvenience and expense. There was no information at all regarding parking. We moved the ping pong table and pulled one of our three cars into the garage. There appeared to be a towel shortage. On the day we checked out we looked in the dryer and found it full of dry but unfolded towels. A simple note on the kitchen counter would have provided us the use of these needed towels. These are small things, but would have made a significant difference in the enjoyment of our stay.

Wonderful gem near Disney

We stayed for a week as a three-generational family. While the 2nd and 3rd generation visited Disney and Universal, the 1st, septuagenarian, generation stayed back to read, watch movies, prepare dinners, visit the Stetson Mansion in Deland, or take on a Wild Willy Airboat Tour on Lake Tohopekaliga, the headwaters of the Florida Everglades. (Speaking of watching movies, in addition to super fast Internet, there's a gigantic HDTV in the family room.) The children enjoyed to large, heated pool after busy days at the tourist attractions. (Even Bumpa got in the pool a couple of times!) The property overlooks a small lake, surrounded by similar homes, most of which appear to have permanent residents (note: if you want to host loud parties, I suggest you go somewhere else!). Susan, the owner was very responsive during our visit. When I pointed out very minor issues, she responded immediately and offered immediate service, which I declined, because they were minor. I simply wanted to point them out for future guests. Assuming no traffic on highway 192, (which is optimistic), Disney is only 15 minutes away. But the property is also easily accessible via the "back door" to Disney, highway 27. The home includes two master suites, with king beds and gigantic bathrooms. On the other side, there are two, smaller, twin bedrooms, with twin beds and a recently upgraded bathroom. In the garage, there's foosball and ping pong, plus a George Forman electric grill, which we used one night to prepare thick steaks for dinner. At first, I though I missed a gas grill, but the Forman grill served its purpose well and was much easier to clean. One of our vehicles was a Tesla, which I easily plugged in to a 110v outside receptacle near the front door. I definitely recommend this venue. Should a future family reunion take us to Central Florida, I will happily book this property again. One tip when the instructions advise closing the patio doors to the pool area, comply. Those pesky little gnats successfully penetrate the screened in pool;

We enjoyed the stay!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The property was well maintained and sits on a beautiful lake. Mornings and evenings out back by the pool were relaxing and the common area was nice for gathering with family. Super close to all stores and restaurants. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Sunset Lakes has a beautiful view

We had a lovely 10 days at Sunset Lakes. We thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor living space and watching the ducks on the lake. My husband and son fished every night and my son caught his first bass. We had a small issue and Sue had someone over to fix it the same day. We would rent this property again

Fantastic Family House

Great home away from home

This is the second time we have stayed at this property and it is still the best villa we have stayed in in over 20 years of visiting the Orlando area. Location is great, close the restaurants on the 192 and within easy reach of the Disney parks and I-4 used to reach the Universal Parks. The house itself has everything you need from a home away from home and is in a great, quite, location overlooking a lovely lake. Will be visiting again shortly I hope!

lakeside luxury

we had great stay in this lovely home we have stayed in others but nothing to this standard. I would recommend this villa to all my friends and family it truly is a home from home. it has the prime location on the estate and the south facing view over the lake from the large pool deck is stunning we will definitely be booking again in the future

Best on Sunset Lakes'

My wife had refused to stay in a holiday home after a few bad experiences- we have stayed on many on this estate- none compare to Susan's, Position- faultless- pure south facing. Huge deck area. Beautiful view. Very private Cleanliness- Susan told me she constantly updates- it's clear she does. It's immaculately clean, not even a worn tea towel Everything is provided for your use- we came here from the Hard Rock Hotel & I was nervous that my wife would be unhappy, and have to clean for 2 days to bring it to standard etc etc No need for that here.
