Our first vacation to Florida

Excellent family option!

Perfect option for our family to get together! Host did a great job communicating throughout experience. Very easy checkout. The themed rooms were a big hit with the kids. Would stay here again.

The property was well kept, pictures are exactly to what you see when you walk into the house. It was such a great experience for my first family trip with my own family. Was very close to shopping areas, Disney ect. Highly recommended

It was a great place

Pros: Close to Disney Themed rooms were amazing The small pool was a hit with the kids. Trash pickup everyday. Beds were comfortable Cons: No wash clothes and not many towels for a 4 bedroom house. No dish clothes to wash dishes. No broom or vacuum to clean up. I like to keep things clean even when away on vacation.

A great end to a bad start.

Tried to stay in California, but couldn’t because of the fires. Booked on another app and ran into different problems. Decided we had such a great time last January when we vacationed here we should go there again. The first time they had some character stickers and bedding in themes like Star Wars, Frozen, Minions, Harry Potter, and the living room in Mickey Mouse. This time, they redid all the rooms with full wallpaper themes. The Harry Potter room even had some old style wood on the ceiling like an old castle, with a chandelier style light. All laminate flooring for easy cleaning of accidental spills. Pool is heated and even had a few toys for the kids to play with. My wife enjoyed the little lizards that live around there and it gave it a real island resort feel. My second time here and even reffered it to a family friend going to Orlando for an event because it is cheaper than a hotel in the area and you get a house in a gated community with security. Don’t worry about losing the keys because it is coded for when you arrive to open. Can’t say enough good things about this place. Close to everything, even walking distance from Walmart.

Perfect retreat

We had two families staying in the property and there was plenty of room for all. The property was clean and comfortable. The management was super. We had a change in our plans and they worked with us and we’re prompt with getting back to us on any questions we had.

Perfect House for Universal

We loved this house. We were a group of 7 and it was so nice for each of us to have a bed to sleep in. The rooms were decorated perfectly and the kids were thrilled with the Frozen, Star Wars and Minion room and my husband and I loved that there was a separate bedroom downstairs so we could have some distance from the kids! Getting in touch with the host was easy even though we did not need to. I liked the option of the pool but unfortunately it was to cold to swim while we were there. Would absolutely book here again if it is available when we come.

Owner overstated the quality of the property. Neighborhood was nice. Themed rooms inviting. Interior furniture and items were in need of repair. Extra fees added on after the fact. Overall disappointed in the rental and management.

Overall, the home was adequate for our group of 5 adults and 1 child, and it would more comfortably accommodate 4 adults and 3 children. The location is very convenient to Disney World, Sea World, and all of the major parks.That said, the property itself is in need of some care and attention. It could benefit from a thorough cleaning, as we encountered multiple wasp nests, spiders, and bagworms around the home. The house was not properly stocked with towels to support the number of guests it can host, and several appliances—though available—were not properly cleaned, which gave the home a less tidy feel overall.Another challenge we faced was with check-in and arrival. The listing provided limited information, and a key detail was missing: the home is in a gated community and requires a QR code for entry. After driving 15 hours, we arrived an hour before check-in only to find we did not have the QR code. There was no prior mention of this requirement, and we had to scramble to get in contact with the host in order to access the property.Finally, the listing itself felt misleading. I was under the impression that this was a standalone home, but it is actually a townhouse attached to other units. The photos and description did not make this clear.With better communication, more accurate listing details, and some cleaning/maintenance, this could be a muchbetter property and experience.

High expectations but not delivered

We were so excited to stay here. Yes the decorations were nice and pretty accurate. The house really needed a good cleaning. Floors, walls, baseboards. The supplies for the week were lacking. Only 1 dishwasher pod. Only 1 extra toilet paper roll per bath not enough garbage bags…. The bbq only shot flames out from the front. No heat. It was broke for sure. Only 2 chairs by the pool for a house sleeping 8…. Could use new towels, thin and worn. Beds were very creaky. The area was lovely, clubhouse pool was beautiful. Convenient location. Safe and quiet. Landlord did not answer my texts while there to address my concerns and asked for a 5 star review as soon as we left. Not a bad place but for the money should be so much more and really it wouldn’t take much to get it there

I will start with the check in when we got to the property there was a QR code that is required for them to scan for all guest. The host did not make us aware of this, and I had to pull over to the side, send him a message and wait for the QR code to be sent so we can get in that was the first issue. Then we get to the home is trash outside of the front door that had not been picked up. There were three wasp nest around the front entrance. Beware the pictures that they have online is not completely reflective of what the home is. The couch, rugs and dining table is completely different. The amenities in the bedrooms are not fully like the picture state when we sit on the couch we immediately started itching like they had fleas on it or something , we go to the pool and there is poop in the bottom of the pool And the water was very murky. We reach out to the host at this point and he states It had rained all morning and that was why it was murky and he’ll have someone come tomorrow morning For the pool to be cleaned from the poop, we let him know that would not work for us and we needed someone to come out immediately to remove the wasp nets from the door and then remove the poop from the pool. He did have someone come! But that is not where it ends unfortunately, we check the beds and the pillows were filthy in the Star Wars room!! there were big cockroaches!! I reached out to the host and he longer responded! Vrbo was no help in getting issue fixed !! DO NOT STAY HERE!!

Mixed Feelings

Pros & Cons to this location Pros: Listing relatively accurate. Safe neighborhood, and prime location in regards to highways, restaurants and other activities to keep yourself or family busy. Host left candies on the beds upon arrival and the house was clean. Cons: this is probably specific to our reservation, but the owner decided to redo the stairs the day that we were arriving and waited to tell us the day we were checking in. There was a horrible chemical smell from the glue. We had to be careful going down the stairs because of this. I feel very strongly that this should have been completed and dry before our arrival or they should have waited until we left! This was beyond an inconvenience. When I complained via the app, my message was not even acknowledged. The mattresses are not comfortable. The host should consider pillow tops or gel toppers. People go on vacation to get away from the hustle and bustle of life and expect comfy beds or at least at par to what they have at home. The towels are ROUGH!!! bring your own. It’s not listed but you have to check in. There are gates to get in and out of the complex which is great. However, if the security guard is not there to let you into the complex and the 24 hour person who supposed to answer the intercom ignores you, essentially you might risk getting locked out of the complex and can’t bring your car in. When I contacted the host about this, my message was also ignored. There were ant or maybe roach traps around the house. Takes away from the vacation ambiance. The light to the filter to the fridge was red. If the host communicated better, perhaps I would have rated this better. Not sure if messages from the host are automated because the day we checked out, miraculously I received a message requesting a 5 star review if I enjoyed my stay. If the host has a management company overseeing this property, they should be fired!!

Amazing home!

The home is amazing love the Disney Theme. Very clean and organized. The pool was awesome, after a long day at park coming home to the pool was amazing. The whole family loves it. communicating with the owner was very easy and fast! Definitely recommend and will be back soon.

Would not recommend

The pictures are accurate but are dated. The place looks exactly like the photos only the couch and all the carpets are severely stained and dirty and need to be professional cleaned or replaced. Even the character stuffed animals are filthy and need to be replaced. The downstairs master bath toilet runs constantly. The garbage was never picked up as we were told it would be every morning. We wrote the property manager who never responded. Front security directed us to a dumpster in the neighborhood which looked like a homeless camp with garbage everywhere. On our last night the a/c stopped working and we slept in 82 degrees with ceiling fan that shook so bad we thought they would fall off. The pool deck has weeds growing through the pavers. Tried multiple times to contact the property manager with no response. Save your money and stay elsewhere.
