Always Wonderful ~ Never Disappoints
This little gem is our go to getaway. Always peaceful, clean and comfortable. You’ll want for nothing except a longer stay. Bed, bath and kitchen, all well appointed. The view is beautiful … sunrises, ospreys, boats quietly coming and going … all from a private covered deck. We’ll be back …

Winter getaway
Great time great view and a chance meeting of a famous town elder! Only issue was finding the stairs to the unit, but Rob got us to the right place. Highly recommend!

Weekend stay in Oriental
The unit and view are beautiful. Finding the entrance was a little confusing in the dark because it is accessed from the deck of the 1st floor unit. The property itself could have been kept a little tidier (camping supplies on the walkway to the unit) but once inside it was perfect. The location was great - we biked everywhere!

AWESOME GET AWAY!!
Wow!! This sweet, lovely home was exactly the perfect relaxing get away that my husband and I were looking for and needed!! The water view is outstanding - ospreys, local fisherman, sail boats, full moon, occasional stormy afternoons on the covered porch, all made for a memorable stay. Everything was so clean and comfortable and Irma’s paintings are beautiful!!! Thank you so very much Irma and Bob for your warm hospitality. The Getsway
Travelled to Oriental for a sailing weekend. The apartment was large, fresh and clean with a fabulous view of the waterfront from both the enclosed living room and the porch. Although we did not cook or do laundry - the availability of those options added to the rest of the features will bring us back. Thank you for a lovely VRBO experience.

Lovely Waterfront Property in the Village of Oriental
We were very pleased with the property and will definitely stay here again when we return to Oriental. The location was great; it is an easy walk or bike ride to the restaurants, coffee shop and brewery. The owners of the property were very friendly, and we felt very welcome.

Relaxing Getaway
Quiet stay. Great view. I realize had we stayed more than two nights the cost/night would have been less and the stay more enjoyable. Total cost for us was over $300 per night when the fees are tallied. For that price the ice maker should work and a couple other minor issues should not exist. Overall, the location was a great escape! Oriental is a treasure.

The apartment is comfortable, clean and has great views of the water, marina and if the season is right a family of osprey. Irma and Bob, the hosts, are very friendly and always open to answering any questions. We look forward to returning in the near future

Amazing view
The inside of the property was beautiful, comfortable and very clean. The covered porch was great even in the rain. The view was beautiful. Sailboats, fish jumping, butterflies and an osprey nest with 2 chicks. It was amazing watching the osprey fly in with a fish and feed their young. The village and great restaurants are a 15 minute walk along the river. The only small drawback was the entrance which is through the owners work equipment to the stairs. The entrance is on the water side not the street side. Coming and going, we were greeted by baby bunnies. Looking forward to our next visit.

This is our third visit to the Waterfront Getaway. We love that we can walk to the warm and welcoming town of Oriental. And we loved returning to this cozy apartment at the end of rainy day. We hope to return again very soon!

We appreciated the dog friendly accommodation's: the fenced in yard, easy to clean floors, and dog bowls made availably by our hosts. The location was great to walk dogs around area; Oriental is a small, friendly town so we enjoyed morning walks.

Delightful property in the Village of Oriental, NC. Great views of Whittaker Creek and the marinas. Comfort and cleanliness were Class A. A lovely stay
The apartment was very clean and well appointed. It had nice, local decor but was not at all cluttered. The town was cute, and the location of the property was ideal for a short walk to the downtown area. I would recommend this property to family or friends, enjoy.

We wanted a place where the view from the porch would be sufficient. This property certainly met our needs. The hosts were welcoming and friendly. The management got on a call with me prior to my arrival to ensure they addressed my questions about the additional VRBO charges. I received a refund from VRBO, but was really grateful for their immediate response and caring call. The house was amazing. So very hard to find a VRBO that has great WIFI. This is big for us. I am in school and we are Youtubers and need great connection for both. The management contacted me about clothes that were left behind. Luckily it was not mine but impressed that they got to me so fast and willing to mail it to me (fee of course). I appreciate their attention to detail, patience in working through issues, and how they manage the property. So rare in this VRBO industry to find such a professional PM with a human touch. Looking forward to our return to this cute home away from home.

This is our 2nd stay at this lovely property. We like it so much we’re hoping to “gift” some of our favorite family members with a long weekend! Lovely, comfortable stay
This is a wonderful apartment in quaint Oriental. The space is exactly as described and pictured — very nicely furnished and decorated. It is a perfect spot for a couple. The covered porch overlooking the water is outstanding! We were in Oriental for a outdoor music festival, and when rain sent us back to the apartment we were comfortable spending the afternoon relaxing and reading. Highly recommended.
