"We had a group of 15 get together for a friend reunion. This place was beyond perfect for us. The entire property was so much bigger than anything I was imagining. The cabins are at the end of a long dirt road so it’s very private. I think only 2 other places on the property are available to rent and it felt like we had the place to ourselves. Lost lake is a short walk from the cabins and they provide canoes and kayaks you can use. The cabins and pavilion have electricity and stay very cool at night. Bring your bug spray, but that’s to be expected when you’re surrounded by woods. The host was very communicative and would reply to my questions quickly. Overall we had such an incredible stay and will absolutely be coming back here! "

"This is my second year doing a solo trip to the cabin. My dog and I love it! The cabin itself is spacious and has everything you might need. The area/ lake is well kept and it’s a relaxing place. Can’t wait to go back! "

"What a relaxing setting. Listening to the water, watching the deer, the sounds and smells of the firepit/campfire...just what we needed. The screened porch area was especially nice for those of us who are not the "bug friendly" sort. The boys loved fishing, and of course the grilling area and FIRE PIT! Did I mention the fire?! All the rooms had enough space for our family to gather, play games and sleep well. If you enjoy shaded woods, clean water and space to relax, this fits the bill. It took us a day to figure out the sound of the mole repellents but once identified, we switched them off and enjoyed the outdoor sounds perfectly. (We switched them on again before leaving) The lighting is welcoming while outside without being too bright, the kitchen has ample space for "too many cooks" at a time (we made the mistake of bringing a large selection of cup maker type coffee-and it's a drip coffee maker whoops) Thankfully the weather was perfect also, which allowed us a bit of time to air out home upon arrival. Like most "water location homes" it doesn't take long to get a bit musty smelling. But the windows opened easily, the cross ventilation is great and quite soon it aired and was perfect. The bedding was comfortable and generous and you could not ask for a better view waking up (as master bedroom opens not only to the river, but has an entrance to the screened porch right from bedroom-along with a deck entrance) Our family really appreciated the time together. "We had the best experience! The host Connie was amazing. Her responsiveness was unbelievable prompt. The pool, and the game room kept the kids happy. Beach access and the view from the house is picturesque! We will definitely revisit! "

"We enjoyed the house, it was roomy and pretty clean. I would suggest that housekeeping uses unscented soaps and dryer sheets when washing sheets & towels. I am highly sensitive to scents and had a hard time however I brought my own sheets and even though I used my own sheets the scent was still there probably from the mattress cover. The towels were just as bad. Also, the listing should state no swimming at the property. I would not have known that if I hadn’t sent a text to the owner regarding something else and was warned that swimming was not allowed. "
