"Paulina and Jeremy were the most gracious hosts. They were always available for any requests or questions we had and we had a lot. The rooms were cozy and beautiful designed.
Orient Bay Beach and Village was an 8 minute walk. There are many restaurants to choose from. Kontiki Beach Bar offered free beach chairs for hotel guests of Pomme de Cannelle.
My only suggestion would be more space for clothes and toiletries. But overall an excellent experience, felt like I was staying at a friends guest house."
"Very nice hotel. Short walk to beautiful beach. Only negative was the breakfast lacked variety everyday. It was the same breakfast day in and day out. Overall, very nice hotel and staff. Thank you!"
"Great Location and Comfortable Rooms, but Operations Could Be Tighter
Overall, I had a good stay at Orient Beach Hotel and would rate it 4 out of 5. The rooms are spacious, modern, well-appointed, and easy to navigate. I stayed in a ground-floor unit and really enjoyed the patio, oceanfront view, and breeze. The location is excellent. Orient Village is only a few minutes away on foot, and there are many great restaurants along the beach. Breakfast at KKO was also good, with pastries, cold cuts, fruit, and yogurt though I would note birds were often picking at the bread without many attempts from staff to stop them.
Ultimately the main issue was inconsistent service and follow-up. We booked two rooms, and one had weak air conditioning at check-in. There was confusion about whether it would be repaired or whether we would be moved, and I had to follow up myself for an answer. A shower feature in another room took about two days to fix, and staff did not provide updates because the room phone was not working (my phone issue could have also been proactively fixed but never was). There were also a couple of occasions when supposedly clean beach towels were visibly dirty.
None of these issues ruined the stay, and the staff was helpful when prodded, but the hotel needs clearer procedures, stronger quality control, and more proactive communication. That said and overall, the location, rooms, and views made it an enjoyable experience."
Villa Turquoze, an astonishing view on Orient Baie
10/10 Excellent
"We absolutely loved our stay at this villa! One of my favorite things was that everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom, which made each space feel like its own private little oasis. The villa was beautiful, spacious, and perfect for our group. We also loved the pool and spent so much time enjoying it! If I ever come back to St. Maarten, I would definitely stay at this villa again. Such an amazing experience and a wonderful place to stay!"

"Just spent two weeks here (Jun 20 - Jul 4 2026) with my family and their partners from NYC and NJ. Over the course of the 14 days we had anywhere from 4 to 8 adults. Our group is well travelled and in the last few years have take several different trips to Western Europe, the Caribbean, the Gulf Coast and Hilton Head. It's hard to overstate how perfectly suited this house is for an extended family trip - it has a very well equipped kitchen (many days we prepared breakfast, lunch and full dinners for 8), refreshing pool for after the beach, and an excellent entertainment system in the house and also poolside, excellent AC and gorgeous bathrooms.Given its location, the secure and private nature of its grounds, its amenities and just how beautiful it is overall, we were very sad to leave this house and St Martin - even after 2 weeks we didn't get enough.Minor item - please note that the VRBO map places the villa at about 100 meters from the beach (KKO Beach Club & Restaurant) - it's more like 500 meters or a 5 minute walk, though not a big deal. Villa is also very easy walking distance to Ave des Plages in the center of Orient Bay. We also had a car for traveling farther afield on the St Martin. And last, but absolutely not least - Luvie is a treasure. The family looked forward to seeing her each and every day - now that we're home we miss her. My only regret is that I forgot to post our thoughts about her and the villa in the guest book before we left. We'll be back."

"Beautiful studio with a wonderful view. Everything was perfect. We look forward to coming back and staying in this location. We had a private parking place in the complex that was great and made our stay even nicer. Chantel our host was superior. This is the place to stay when coming to St. Martin."
