"Stunning setting- absolutely gorgeous hotel. BUT- No air conditioning and our room on the 4th floor was very hot. Restaurant is beautiful but dining experience very disappointing- mediocre, overpriced food and terrible service. Dinner a few miles down the road at the campground was better and 1/2 the price. Would stay again, in cooler weather because of the beautiful surroundings but skip eating here."

"The first thing I have to mention is the excellent staff. Every one of them was polite, attentive and helpful and communicated well in spite of the language barrier. I didn’t speak a word of French but they did their best to communicate in English and they did a great job. Garden and City has lots of common spaces to hang around after a hard day of hiking. Most lodgings in Cauterets do not have common spaces. Rooms were clean, beds were comfy. There is an in-house laundromat. Located in the center of town. Pricing was reasonable. I would highly recommend this place."

"Hotel Continental Balneario The hotel is located in the heart of the Pyrenees mountains with a stunningly beautiful mountainside backdrop which is absolutely picturesque. The hotel has an extensive spa with thermal baths. It has its own in house restaurant and other restaurants on site. We ate in the hotel restaurant which was a tasty buffet style offering a wide range of salad, hot meals and deserts. All the staff were extremely friendly, polite and welcoming. This is a pristine place to stay especially if you are touring the Pyrenees. A number of fellow motorcyclists were staying at the same time."
