Perfect Cabin/Perfect Host

Family winter weekend

My family really enjoyed the jewel of Zion, it just happen to snow the day before we got there so the kids enjoyed building snowman, everyone loved the hot tub and the theater. If you ever visit Utah and need a home with space and character i recommend this beautiful home

Wonderful family vacation home

5 generations of family enjoyed spending time in this beautiful home. Several large tables for puzzles, card games and seating for meals. Lots of hiking spots nearby & jacuzzi a nice bonus.

Great family reunion spot for our large family

Nice large home with ample seating and space for lots of folks. Quiet bedrooms and nice accommodations. Perfect spot for our family of 30+ to enjoy a week at Zion Ponderosa and the national park.

Zion Trip

Beautiful home in national park

This home is beautiful with great amenities such as a sauna in the shower. We held a women's retreat at the home and had a wonderful time. Everyone was very happy with their stay.

This is a gem in the wilderness

We had a reunion at this property. It was fantastic in just about every way. While there we did an adventure tour from the Zion Ponderosa Resort, which was also great. The accommodations are perfect for large families. We will consider returning again in the future because it was so easy and comfortable.

Exceeded Our Expectations

We absolutely loved our stay at this property for our women’s retreat! The home had spacious areas that were perfect for gathering, worship, and quiet reflection. Its location—right between Bryce Canyon and Zion—allowed us to explore both parks with ease, making it the perfect home base for adventure and rest.One of our favorite features was the media room, where we gathered for teaching and worship. Having the ability to display lyrics on the screen created such a meaningful and immersive worship experience.If you're looking for a peaceful, spacious, and well-equipped retreat space in southern Utah, we can't recommend this property enough!

Family Reunion

My family booked this house in June of 2024 for a large family reunion and I can't say enough great things about it! Chris was very easy to communicate with and made sure everything was great at check-in and throughout our stay. The beds were comfortable, the deck space was lovely, all of the games provided were much used and appreciated. It was a great house for a large group. The kids loved the theater room and being walking distance to the lodge was great. We went down for lunch, milkshakes, to play volleyball, pet the goats, there was so much to do! I highly recommend this place!

Zion Paradise

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this luxury cabin for a trip to Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks, and I must say, it was an absolute dream. We were greeted with warmth and hospitality from the moment we arrived, setting the tone for a truly unforgettable experience. The house itself was stunning—spacious, immaculately clean, and beautifully decorated with a perfect blend of modern amenities and cozy charm. Attention to detail was evident in every corner, from the stylish furnishings to the thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. My friends and family highly recommend this location if you are visiting the local National Parks.

Wonderful family trip

We had a family gathering for a winter holiday with all ages. The house was perfect for what we needed. It was supplied with everything we needed, especially in the kitchen with several appliances for large crowds. The location was far enough away but close enough to all the sites you would want. We got in hiking in Zion, snowboarding in Brianhead, and pink sand boarding g in Kanub. The beds were comfortable with plenty of towels and blankets. The steam room was a big hit and the outdoor spa hit the spot after hiking. Chris was fast to respond to all our communication and check in was simple. And let’s not forget the movie theater, what a blast. Thank you Chris for providing a family memory we won’t forget.

Zion adventure after hiking Rim to Rim at Grand Canyon

Our group of 17 had a marvelous time at the house east of Zion. We hiked North Rim to South Rim of the Grand Canyon and arrived at the Zion house the following day. Along our way, we stopped to tour Antelope Canyon in Page, Az. The house was PERFECT! More than enough rooms for everyone to have privacy. Two washers and dryers for our sweaty hiking clothes was a treat! The kitchen was huge but our favorite spot to relax was the back deck. At one point, we grabbed pillows and blankets and laid on the deck staring at the stars! It was magical! The only issue was that we should have booked more time there! Highly recommend this house for large groups!

Great house.

We stayed here with extended family, group of 21, 10 adults and 11 kids ranging from 3 to 17. House lay out is great, plenty of bathrooms, basement perfect for kids. Movie theater was a really nice bonus, kids really enjoyed that in addition to the garage with pop a shot and ping pong. Like the location as you got to enjoy the drive through east Zion many times but also located where Bryce Cayon and north rim of Grand Cayon is not too far. Only down side to east side of Zion is very few restaurants if you want to eat out a time or two. House did have great kitchen and large grill so cooking there was no issue. Highly recommend the home, would like to return sometime in future.

THE place to stay in Zion

There is so much to like about this property. Instead of high end glass and marble finishes, the owners seem to have wisely invested in fun and functional items that make this stay one of a kind. There’s a hot tub, ping pong table, pop a shot, sauna, huge deck with fire pit, and the biggest home movie theater I’ve ever seen! There are so many kitchen accoutrements that are often missing from other similar properties- so hosting meals in the dining room or outside is a breeze. It’s also located less than a mile from Ponderosa Ranch so if you don’t want to worry about cooking after a day of hiking, just pop down to the restaurant.if you have a large group and are planning on visiting Zion, this is the place you need to stay.

Great place for large families

Had a large family gathering here with multiple generations. Plenty of room for everybody, the place is really big! Kitchen had everything you’d need. Kids loved the hot tub and theater room. Location is beautiful, not exactly easy to get to Zion even though it’s pretty close as the crow flies, but that’s true of basically everywhere unless you’re staying right in Springdale. The two small criticisms are some of the furniture was pretty ratty and it could use more in the way of games. There was a popashot but the scoreboard didn’t work and the balls were in pretty sad shape. I would expect a little more in the way of rec stuff since most people who stay here are probably going to have teenagers and kids.

A few issues on first day. Lock was jammed on front door so code didn’t work. House hadn’t been cleaned from last guests. Hot tub controls were locked. Host Chris was very responsive and made it right. House is beautiful with every amenity provided. Overall, we had a great time.

MRA Trip

Beautiful location and large, comfortable house! The cabin served our purpose well. Our students were in awe of the size and layout and everyone was comfortable in their rooms. There were some slight issues with appliances -- the second morning the oven had an error code and didn't work for the rest of the stay, despite no issues the night before. The microwave also seemed to be very weak. This caused some inconvenience and had to be worked around for dinner on the second night. Finally, one of the reclining chairs in the theatre reclined normally when operated, but did not respond after reclining. (All appliances were used properly and carefully. Our students are very respectful.) Otherwise, it was a good stay and we appreciate the owner's hospitality in allowing us to check in early on our first day.
