"The owners of L'Ajasserie in Orcival are just wonderful! Claude and Rosi made our stay so pleasant and serve a wonderful dinner, Rosi's cuisine. Orcival is a lovely small town with an amazing Romanesque church, the prettiest wee saw. If you want an authentic Auvergne experience, not a cookie-cutter hotel experience, I would highly recommend L'Ajasserie d'Orcival. The room was spacious and clean and very comfortable. Would love to return!"

"The most amazing building! Greeted by the owner who shared the history of the house and showed us around. Every room was beautiful and full of history. Our suite was outstanding. Huge bedroom and modern bathroom also separate reading room. We were encouraged to use the library, dining room and sitting room with a beautiful log fire. The owner could not be more welcoming. Our stay was perfect. Would highly recommend. "

"It was horrible rainy, misty and cold. The room was cold and even through the owner brought us an extra heater & a lovely cup of tea, it never got above 17 degrees. Small room with basic facilities. Narrow stairs & struggle to get bags up to room. Restaurant nice but steak I had was tough."

"This is a charming and quiet place to stay in a great Clermont-Ferrand location. Fantastic breakfast and hospitality (our host was very helpful and went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable and had whatever we needed). Great to have a place to park off the street too. This is a really special place. We will definitely stay again the next time we visit Clermont-Ferrand."
