"Super friendly staff from reception to the restaurant to everyone else working on the Lodge grounds. Really glad we picked the Maycock Suite, which had a more private balcony, hammock and impressive views. Really good food in the restaurant, chef came out to speak to us each time we are them. Same breakfast menu every day to select two items from, then a different fresh juice range every day. Free (donation-based) group yoga and meditation sessions overlooking the ocean were pretty special. We hired the Lodge e-bikes to explore a bit more of the area – Andromeda Botanical Gardens, Bathsheba beach and further along the coast. A brilliant place to leave work (and social media) behind and properly switch off!"

"This is a perfect surfers location. Beautiful surf directly across the street, the pictures are accurate, the neighbors are friendly and sitting on the porch watching the surf was heaven. It is not "fancy" - if you have a high maintenance American with you this will not be your rental, but if you want a perfect surf spot to enjoy the views and relax book it. The owner was accessible by What's app as was the car rental co. Be sure to stop for groceries before getting to Bathsheba (only a little market nearby very pricey) and walk to the local spots for meals (some are open on weekends only). We needed a car. On the island you will need GPS (google maps worked) - roads are not well marked. The owner of the VRBO set us up on a fabulous fishing trip - caught Wahoo, Mahi and Barracuda. Definitely recommend if you have the right group. We will be coming back. "

I love nature, healthy living, good-hearted people and delicious food. My week at Naniki cottages under the guidance of my friend and mentor Tom (the owner), has changed my outlook at life. This place is a piece of paradise. No mosquitoes, nothing poisonous or harmful on the island, right next to the best surfing in the Caribbean (the soup bowl) and overall a therapeutic retreat. That mountain in St. Joseph is ranked 3rd in the world in longevity; most people live to 100 years old. I will be going back again and again as I intend to purchase a plot of land in the area to build my dream vacation home for my family one day. "
