"We had a really lovely stay here. We felt totally immersed in the atmosphere of a traditional Japanese Ryokan. The food was both delicious and always beautifully presented. We are really glad that we made this stop as part of our travels around Japan. Mount Fuji was mostly covered in isolated low level cloud, but we did get a gorgeous view once or twice.

"Mixed feelings on this guest house - it was lovely decorated and recently renovated by the owner, who was lovely and super friendly & helpful. Had offered affordable breakfast (500 yen/ person in May 2025) and plenty of shared area spaces - with ability to use glasses / cups / kettle / microwave. "Onsen with a great view. The outdoor onsen was my favorite. It was a perfect temperature and the environment was relaxing. I was solo traveling so I didn't use the ping pong or karaoke room, but I will definitely bring friends next time. I stayed in a traditional tatami style room and was pleased with the layout. I will say there's not much to eat in the immediate area, so definitely include the breakfast and dinner in your stay."
