We enjoyed a long weekend at this cute little cabin. The outdoor space was great, and we enjoyed the proximity to Knoebels and Rickett’s Glen State Park.
Knoebels, Ricketts Glen, Little League world series trip
We had a great stay, enjoyed fishing and kayacking in the crick and the proximity to multiple activities. Would definitely stay again if returning to area. Cabin was well stocked, clean and comfortable
Our family stayed in the home for a few days and was exactly what we needed to rest and recharge! Enjoyed the creek front, fire pit and sitting on deck playing games and enjoying each other’s company
We enjoyed our stay at Chris's place. It was super clean. We really liked the trail behind the house down to the creek, and so did our dogs! The house is less than 30 minutes from Ricketts Glen State Park, which was great too.
A perfect get away to meet up with family. We especially enjoyed kayaking on beautiful Huntington Creek. playing games, jamming on the guitars, and just relaxing on the back porch overlooking the forest. The gas log fireplace was great to have on chilly mornings and evenings. The cabin was well appointed with updated kitchen and bathroom. Chris was a very helpful host. We hope to return next year for a longer stay.
My siblings, spouse and I stayed for a long weekend. We really enjoyed use of the fire pit and switchback path to the creek. The home was very clean and well stocked with extra cozy blankets. I'd love to go back during warmer weather to take advantage of the kayaks.
The location was amazing. We loved the hike down to the water! This home had everything we needed and was exceptionally clean. The owners recommended a local fair that we had not known about and we had such a fun time. Beautiful memories made with my family and would not hesitate to visit again.
Our stay was amazing and exactly what we were looking for. It was so peaceful. The sound of the water from the creek while sitting on the patio was perfection. Did not get to use the fire pit because we did not want to risk anything with all the wind, but we are hoping to come back and use that and the kayaks! The bed was so comfortable! Definitely cant wait to book again!
We really enjoyed the porch, surrounded by trees, overlooking the river. The owner was great to deal with, very attentive and quickly responded to the couple questions that we had. Even had luck fishing!!
The property was fantastic and had everything we needed. We enjoyed morning coffee on the porch overlooking the creek, kayaking, fishing, and an afternoon fire for lunch. Proximity to Bloomsburg is great dining options if desired, but what we enjoyed most was just relaxing at the cabin. Owners were thoughtful, responsive and accommodating. We will definitely revisit this wonderful property.
What a lovely place! We stayed here for just a few days, my husband, myself, and our 16-year-old grandson. Our grandson loves nature photography and spent hours on the trail to the water and sitting by the water. The house was clean and comfortable. The View from the patio was lovely, especially at night with the lights that mark the trail to the water. Everything we needed was there with a well stocked kitchen and plenty of clean towels, a comfortable bed, linens, and pillows. We are already discussing when we can come back in the spring. (And one important note there is a Switchback Trail to the water that I was easily able to manage as a grandma in her 60s!) We heartily recommend this place!
Myself, my partner, and our elementary-aged son stayed here and honestly this place is nicer than it even looks online, which is rarely the case. The hill down to the creek is a little steep but if you are mobile, definitely worth checking out. It was SO QUIET the whole time we were there and only about a 15 minute drive to groceries and such. Chris was very communicative the whole time.
Also there were lots of extra clean towels and blankets! The deck was lovely. We stayed in Autumn but I bet summer is even nicer and winter is a dream. There are chickens living next door but no rooster so they were fun to watch free range around. Also the beds and pillows were very comfortable and I am a terrible sleeper but I slept like a baby.
Highly recommend this place. Looking forward to staying here again sometime :)
Everything was exactly as shown, we had an amazing time enjoying everything this property had to offer! We will definitely book this beautiful property again!
