Not having a bunch of condos right next to us was really great! Fewer people, the beach was great, the condo was clean and plenty of space. Did feel the parking passes were a bit expensive but overall we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider this condo again for a family trip.
Although we booked 612SW for the space & the view we didn’t stay there as there was considerable construction going on. We hope to have a redo vacation & are able to stay in this beautiful unit. We love the location of Windrift.

It is not new but that is part of its charm. The best part about 612 sw is the view! The dedicated undeveloped land next door is truly our favorite thing!
Beautiful condo, view, and weather! Only issue was with some jelly fish…but can’t control that. Not a bad walk to the beach…but, you have to either rent the umbrella/chairs (40/day) available or walk farther past where they put those up each day. Also, seems like your 2 parking spaces should come with the condo, rather than having to pay 125 more. I would gladly pay for extra parking (more than 2), that would make more sense. Anyway, we enjoyed the stay!!
The condo was beautifully decorated. The kitchen was stocked well with pots and pans and other kitchen utensils. It was very organized.
The views were gorgeous. I loved being on the corner and having extra windows. The condo is next to a bird sanctuary so you had views on both sides of the beach and ocean. Our last evening there, we watched dolphins in the ocean swimming from 4:00 pm-6:00 pm from the balcony.
Also, each bedroom had its own bathroom. It was a great condominium.
Setting could not be more perfect for privacy and the unobstructed views from this corner unit were perfect (and hard to find at spring break) Teens would have preferred more activities in the area as it was over the bridge toward perdido key—about 1 mile walk to Florabama. Only smaller outdoor pool, no hot tub. The main areas in unit were very nice. Plenty of seating in living and dining area. Kitchen well stocked. Separate ice machine was a plus as well. The bedrooms and baths could use some updates, not a fan of carpet in bedrooms and master bath area. Balcony was spacious and private as well. Bathrooms are very small. I was happy to overlook the outdated parts of this unit for the nice main living area, incredible views, and privacy. This unit is next to a state park area so the beach was less crowded than most areas. Overall, if you are looking to relax and enjoy long walks on the beach then this is the place for you.
The property is not new but seems well maintained. The master bath wasn't very large, but there were two other bathrooms. We let the host know some things hadn't been cleaned well, and she was quick to respond and offer solutions, so I don't believe there will be any ongoing problems.
Wi-fi and TV instructions were easy and all worked well. Check-in and check-out were super easy. All communication with the host was problem free.
The condo was spacious and had great views of the beach and to the west, toward Gulf Shores. From the entry door, we could immediately see the ocean, which was very close to the building and easy to access. The building is at the end of a row of other condos, and the condo is a corner unit, so privacy and views were not a problem.
Although it was a rainy week, we got beach time and relaxation. Chair/umbrella rental was an easy process too.
This condo was just perfect for my family! Very spacious, clean, very nice decorated, perfect location & only a few steps to the beach! Cannot forget to mention the amazing beautiful ocean view it has from all angles!! Caroline was very helpful. Will definitely look forward to booking again!
This is a beautiful property and I would highly recommend to any group! We spent a week with our 4 adult children home from college and had plenty of room. The property views are amazing! Relaxing on the spacious deck or sitting in the living room with the curtains open you see the beautiful ocean. There is a nature preserve to the right so no other high rise to block views or add noise. The unit had everything we needed to enjoy a few meals in and the ice maker was a plus for sure!
Beds were great as everyone slept wonderfully. The property uses an elevator which we never waited longer than a minute or two for it. Property manager was very helpful an available for questions before and upon arrival. No issues at all during our stay! Very clean!
We would rent this unit again and I highly recommend!
