The Space:

The Knotty Pine is located at the resort side of Wallowa Lake, making it easy to walk to all the activities that are popular in the summer. Winter guests can also snuggle up with a book, enjoy their favorite movies, and play board games on chilly afternoons! The open floor plan between the kitchen, dining, and living areas will keep everyone together, no matter what the day brings. The home features an attractive all-wood interior in every room, and there is an attractive wood-burning fireplace in the living room with a Smart TV and a gas furnace in the dining area, plus new flooring throughout. The full kitchen features new countertops and appliances. The large enclosed deck enjoys a beautiful view of the mountains, making this the perfect place to unwind while your little ones play.



THINGS TO KNOW

Seasonal bbqs are available from Memorial Day thru Labor Day. BBQs are propane and tanks are provided. We strongly encourage you to review your tank level in the morning and if a replacement is needed please reach out to your local contact for a tank replacement.

Enclosed large deck with mountain views.

No fires or fire pits are ever allowed due to the heavy timbered area and county restrictions.

Guests cannot walk from the deck down toward the lower road, as this is watched for trespassing via a trail camera. Guests must walk around.

4WD/traction may be required in winter.

Beautiful Rental

The cabin was spacious with 3 bdrms.Very comfortable. The kitchen was so cute and came well appointed. Very clean. Nice fireplace. Great management and caretaking on this vacation rental.

Rustic Cabin

We had a good time at this little cabin. The cabin was clean and the furniture was comfortable. It does get hot during the day but luckily can be aired out at night with all the windows. It’s a good cabin if you don’t plan on spending time in the cabin except to sleep. There was a strong sewage smell outside the whole stay so we did not get to enjoy the deck. Good location and was easy to walk to everything.

Charming, clean, well appointed cabin. Perfect for our needs. Loved the three equal bedrooms—no arguments over who gets the master suite, haha. Quality kitchen supplies; we had everything we could have needed for cooking. Beds and bedding very comfortable. Plenty of linens. TV and fireplace were nice extras. Nice back deck seating where we enjoyed the fresh air and a glass of wine. Very comfortable and homey cabin. Would definitely stay here again.

Cozy weekend getaway.

We loved this little cabin. Myself, husband, and our two little girls enjoyed this quiet cozy spot of the forest where we could see the beautiful mountains out the windows. We were blessed with some snow and it was beautiful. If you’re visiting here where there may be snow, have tires or chains available. Otherwise it was just what we needed. Thank you.

Peaceful getaway.

Private location but close to what limited activities there are. Small neighborhood area with large lots and lots of trees. Whisper quiet. Pictures accurate. Super clean. I was by myself but I can see four people with room to breathe. Bed and all furniture in great shape and comfortable. Loved the kitchen, fireplace and porch. "My kind of place". I would stay there again. Directions should be adapted to allow for dark night arrival.

Perfect Cabin Getaway for a Small Family

My wife, two boys (7 and 10) stayed at Knotty Pine Cabin for a few days and had a great time at the lake and exploring the area. The cabin served as a perfect home base. It was very clean, had everything we needed for cooking meals and enjoying evenings together, and Vacasa was really good with communication. I would definitely stay there again and recommend to others.

Private, peaceful, cozy Cabin

We will stay here again. It is rustic on the outside, inside is just so welcoming with room for all. A big enough table to sit together for meals and game night. Plenty of amenities, seasonings oils, pots, pans, bowls. Sweetly decorated. The beds are soooo comfortable. We didnt have a problem but someone with mobility issues may have difficulty getting in and out of the home. Cant wait to go back.
