Walk on the beach or drive to Township Park one mile away. Take a 5 minute stroll to Main Street (River Street) and stop at famous Syl's cafe, Krist gas station/minimart, shops, Stubbs Museum bar, etc. Ontonagon River is 4 blocks away where you can fish, kayak, rent a pontoon or boat. Waterfalls are nearby and the largest state park the Porcupine Mountains including the Lake of the Clouds where fall colors are spectacular is a 25 minute drive. Lake of the Clouds was featured on September 24, 2022 when USA Today announced the Upper Peninsula of Michigan as the 2022 1st Best Destination for Fall Foliage in the US.
