Charming quality built home within walking distance of Mullett Lake

"The property was very nice and well kept. It was well stocked and had all the claimed amenities. Only one thing left me scratching my head. The walk to the lake probably didn't take much more than the two minutes as claimed, and we did bring our beach towels as directed, but as to whether or not we could actually make use of the nearby beach was in question. It was clearly posted private property and for residents only. Though the listing seemed to imply lake access, I guess it didn't clearly state that was the case. The house instructions and rules didn't touch on that subject either, so if anyone is interested in a beachy type vacation, I would suggest inquiring with host. Also, there was a bit of a lake view from the house and the sunrises were beautiful!"

"We had the large suite for our family of five. It was like a small apartment that was stocked with dishes along with other amenities like a coffee maker, toaster, pots and pans, silverware, paper towels, and refrigerator. Bathroom was very large with double sink and looks recently rennovated. We enjoyed the extra space and used both queen sized pull out sofa beds. Sofa beds are rarely great...and these were no different but our kids do a lot of camping on the ground so this was much better. Master bedroom was nice. Continental breakfast of average quality and run out of one of the small rooms next to the office. Great location to Mackinaw City or just exploring the area."

"Great location to stay away from city traffic! Was right off the river as well. We would stay again! I feel the boating equipment like the paddle boats and the fishing pools and the kayaks and the shuttle and other things out there could be better maintained so you could enjoy the river better! But was a good relaxing spot and if you brought your own things to enjoy the river your golden."

"Cabin was everything it needed to be and more. Very peaceful area and the host was quick the respond with questions. Wish I stayed longer to use the fire pit and new grill!"
