A beautiful log cabin home on Lake Huron, amazing lake views, hot tub, game room

"Great Property! Awesome place for a family getaway with older kids and family pets. Lots of amenities for entertainment especially the game room area, lots of family competition with Ms. PacMac. A lovely view from the home over Lake Huron, a rock hounder’s paradise. Thank you so much for the experience.The Petersen family."

"Hubby and I will always remember this place! I've never stayed at a place so close to the water! Stunning! Quiet, peaceful, relaxing. Clean and cozy. Extremely well-stocked kitchen. Beds were extremely comfy! I used the washer & dryer before heading up to the UP for a week...they worked fine. We stayed 3 nights in early October. No crowds at Mackinaw Island! We brought our Roku stick so we could log in to our Direct TV and Prime accts to watch our football games and fav shows. Hubby liked the grill. We did not use the hot tub, but did splash around in the shallow water around the dock! Outstanding communication with hosts!"

"I gave this 5 stars because the water and dock themselves makes this place worth it but my toilet bowl was not connected to the ground so it was extremely unstable and the outside of it was covered in pee. The rooms and beds were clean but the sheets were too small and kept pulling off the corners. The sink was clogged and took 35 minutes to drain everytime. In the mornings all we heard were slamming doors and kids running and screaming so the soundproofing is not good. BUT for $90-$100 a night it’s still very good. Like I said the view and fishing was awesome. But it definitely needs some more TLC."
