"Location is very convenient with Seal Rock State Park a 1 minute walk across U.S. 101. Luna Sea restaurant is right out the back door and serves good fresh seafood. Cleanliness of the property was not very good. Cobwebs downstairs, unvacuumed carpet, and long black hairs in the kitchen drawers. New bathrooms and kitchen appliances were nice. Beds were small not queen size as listed."

"Honestly, this was such a perfect little getaway. I wish we had spent more time there and less time running around. The property was clean and well stocked, except there were no extra trash bags--small thing and not a huge deal. I wish there had been a hose available to rinse sand off things, and while there was a hose, it wasn't usable for guests. My only real complaint is that as far as I can see, no where on the online listing does it say that kids under 10 are not allowed in the loft area, but the rules of the cottage say that when you arrive. Most people would plan to put their kids up in the loft in the twin beds, but the house rules say no kids under 10 up there. I would imagine that it is due to the steepness of the ladder (it's quite steep, so it's well justified). I just wish that had been stated in the booking description. I did recheck and was unable to find anything about it. We adjusted our sleeping plans based on this rule. Beyond that, it really was an amazing little cottage and we loved it. Also, no joke about wanting to back in to the driveway. Depending on traffic, sometimes we were able to and other times we weren't, so next time we left we just had someone watch to verify the road was clear to back out. All in all, a great place to stay and experience the ocean. "

"The house had a wet dog smell and the couch was covered in dog hair.The view is amazing but the steps to get down to the beach are very dangerous. 6 were very loose.Overall, we would stay here again because the location is perfect and the house is gorgeous."

"This was an incredible home! Perfect size for our family of 4. The hot tub was sooo lovely and the house itself was wonderfully cozy. The pics almost don't do it justice: The views are fantastic. Getting to the beach itself wasn't super easy but we were able to drive down to the nearby state park and it was easy peasy. 10/10 would stay here again! "

"Such a great bungalow. Great trail about 200 yards down the road where we take our bikes onto the beach & ride. The deck is amazing & we spend tons of time enjoying the sunrise, sunset & moonrise while listening to the ocean. Clean & conveniently located to tons of activities. Love the new convenient texts tell you where to find live music or local markets taking place."

"We booked this on a Tuesday night for Wednesday three nights. It is a little way from Newport but not bad. NW Crane St is full of large potholes but manageable. Once we got the correct lock box code, everything was great. Very quiet and dark at night. The rain head shower is amazing. We would stay here again!"
