This cosy, updated three double bedroom holiday home offers comfort with great indoor/outdoor flow to ample decking. Enjoy a glass of mulled wine sitting by the outdoor fireplace in a sheltered private garden or listen to the bird song from the covered verandah. Next to a reserve, a short walk to a playground, tennis court or the shop. Lake Taupo with swimming beaches and boat ramps are a short walk or drive away. Nearby attractions include lake side walks, tramps/hikes (Tongariro Crossing), bike trails, kayaking, river rafting and skiing.

We loved our stay at Bonnie Doon. It's close to the beautiful trails in the Tongariro National Park, and Tūrangi is a short drive to get petrol and food. The kitchen and bathroom is modern and fully equipped to cook and do laundry; our expectations were exceeded.
