"Not pet friendly. They charge you extra for a "pet" room and then want $30 per dog. They wouldn't switch us to a non-pet room when we realized that their fees were ridiculous. I heard them yelling at another dog owner, who brought their dog in, and told them they couldn't take the dog into their room because it wasn't a pet room. I'm sick or hotels advertising they are pet friendly and then making it too expensive to have them there. Staff was not friendly. "

"The host was very responsive. House was very clean amd had ample space for several people. Pool and hot tub was a wonderful amenity. No sharing with loud and rowdy hotel guests AND we could have a midnight swim if we wanted. It snowed while we were there and had accumulated overnight before we were supposed to leave. Host had someone plow out the drive and shovel the walk early enough for us to have a clear path out. That was an unexpected surprise. Definitely want to stay again."

"Wonderful stay at this lake house! The kitchen, bathrooms and laundry room are equipped with all you need. The fireplace and fire pit were put to great use. Down the ladder we went into Lake Huron. Nearby Tawas City has good shopping, biking and hiking near the Lighthouse. The hosts were very responsive when contacted and it is clear that they take great care of and pride in their home."
