This is a quaint house that is quintessential East Olympia. I enjoyed being so close to the Left Coast Bakery and a lovely grocery place. It is minutes from everything, with several parks near to walk your pups to. Dinners in the glam 20’s dining room were memorable. The beds are layered with softness and the soaking claw foot tub was a lovely way to end the day. A great little retreat right in town.
We had a wonderful stay in this home very close to downtown Olympia. I loved it being so close coffee shops, restaurants and grocery stores - just minutes away on foot. The home's decor is charming and cozy, and the manager responded immediately to a couple of our questions. We hope to stay here again in the future.
It was just a wonderful place. I felt like I was at home. And the owner made everything easy. And want the extra mile. I would encourage you that if you’re in Olympia, stay here.
I appreciated that the home was very clean and was thoughtfully decorated. I had a bit of a struggle with entry keypad upon check-in, but the hosts were very responsive and followed up to make sure it would be easier for future guests. There was an abundance of clean towels and thoughtful amenities like shampoo, conditioner and makeup remover in the bathroom and coffee pods and cocoa in the kitchen. While the space had the character and charm of an older home it also had some of the drawbacks, with no dishwasher, no garbage disposal and a few areas that were in mid-repair, like an empty ceiling light in the bedroom that was stuffed with paper towels and a few unfinished painting spots. We also had to be very vigilant with ants in the kitchen, but generally the appliances were in good repair and it was pleasant to cook for my family and easy to clean up. The seating in the common areas could be improved, as only 3 people can sit comfortably on the loveseat and armchair in the living room. We loved the neighborhood and the convenient downtown location. The homes are charming and people love to decorate for the fall season, which is very fun. The neighbors directly across the street may have not been pleased to have a rental as a neighbor as they had a number of especially creepy mannequins positioned to stare into the front window of my house, with a bright light left on them all night on my first evening there. Good thing I love Halloween.
