Relax at the Lake Cabin! Lake front and private dock for the Resort. Free WIFI! Restaurant bar and grill with family dining options just steps away! Beautiful views of the lake! Fresh air and trees around a very beautiful freshwater lake fed by two creeks and a naturally occurring Hot Springs! One of the warmest lakes in western Washington! Public boat launch and parking lot just 500 feet away down the road. Dock your boat at the resort's dock, eat lunch and go back out on the lake for more fun! Water Skiing and tubing are very popular. Swimming off the dock (no life guard) or put your own kayak or stand up paddle board in the water!
One of the best bass-fishing lakes in western Washington, Nahwatzel Lake is open year-round for fishing, and is stocked each spring and fall exclusively with larger rainbow trout averaging a pound a piece. But it also receives larger rainbows from 3 to 8 pounds each, making it a great destination for quality trout fishing! Please carefully dispose of hooks.

Amazing and Peaceful place!!

We loved the cabin, location and the restaurant near by! The only thing missing was a fire pit and it would have been prefect! Highly recommend we will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful time staying in cabin 1. Great little spot that was comfortable and quiet. The staff at the restaurant were some of THE best people we’ve ever met. Just a great group of people who made us feel very welcomed and comfortable. We look forward to staying here again.

Lakeside Fun!!

It was a great weekend away with friends and family. We collectively as a group rented out all the cabins for a weekend. It was a lot of fun. The dock was alright needs some updating, but in all a great time. Thank you for the great stay!

Great little cabin on the lake!

Super sweet location tucked away in the woods, overlooking the beautiful lake. The cabin was cozy, stocked with coffee, hot chocolate and popcorn. The dock on the lake was the perfect spot to sit and sip. Crystal clear water, and refreshing for a dip. My dog loved it. The host was very accommodating, i would highly recommended

Girls trip

I had a girls trip just me and a friend and this cabin is perfect for a simple stay in the middle of nowhere. I love that there’s a restaurant/bar in the parking lot. We went and they were having a karaoke night and it was just so much fun to watch! The place was clean. It’s not a hotel room by any means so just keep in mind you are staying in a cabin. But everything was well stocked. Host also had messaged me back about my parking questions quickly which I appreciated. Also loved that it was self checkin and checkout.

Property was amazing. There was a dock that we fished off of. Probably should have brought worms as our lures did not work well. The cabin was perfect and set a nice atmosphere.

Comfy little cabin by the lake

The cabin was really comfortably setup. I was there for the races at The Ridge that weekend, so didn't spend a lot of time onsite, just enjoyed a comfortable bed and hot shower.

Prior to our arrival we were told there was some construction being done near the cabin we rented. It was running behind schedule so the resort moved us to a larger unit at no additional charge. The restaurant and bar were a ton of fun. Apparently Saturday is karaoke night. We had a blast. We highly recommend.

We booked this cabin months out for a family event. The day of check in i received a text that there had been a flood , overflowed toilet, sewage spill and the cabin would not be available. The mangement rallied and the overflow wasn't as bad as they said and we were able to stay after all. The tiny cabin has a full size bed in the sleeping room adjacent to the bathroom no door. The sofa features a queen size sofa bed that needs to be replacedif this is advertised as a place for adult to sleep. The mattress is lumpy uncomfortable and slides downhill. It may work for small children , but for two average adults this doesn't work. We also did not have hot water for our stay there except oddly in the bathroom sink. Shower was not useable due to no water and no water pressure. The kitchen sink also had zero water pressure. We were told its because the cabins and restaurant and a couple houses share the same well. Whatever the reason for what they charge a night, we should at least have a comfy bed, and water to shower or fill a pot of coffee. We appreaciated the effort made to get us into the cabin to be with our family but before you rent htis place you really need to know what we experienced. The cabin is darn cute but tiny.

Cute and cozy!

We stayed in Cabin #1 for our anniversary weekend. It was just the right amount of space we needed for me, my husband, and our pup. Super easy walking distance to the lake dock. There wasn’t much area to walk around by the water, but we hung out on the dock and it was just fine! The only other complaint was the bed…it was a bit noisy and bouncy if you move a lot in your sleep. We ended up having a slumber party on the pull out couch the second night, and it was actually very comfy and we got a better nights sleep. We loved the bar and restaurant on the property as well - great food for a great price! Overall, I would recommend this cabin for a cute and quaint weekend getaway 😊

Perfect for what we needed!

I was getting married in Shelton on 9/17 and wanted somewhere that I could stay with my 2 daughters away from the groom the night before the wedding, also somewhere that would serve a purpose for the bridal party and me to get ready, and then be able to come back and stay after the wedding. This cute little cabin was perfect!! The location is beautiful, the cabin was super cute, and it was awesome that there is a restaurant right on location too! We will definitely be back in the future for a little family getaway.

Friendly people/nice quite get away not far away. Clean, modern cabin.

Tonya (owner) is a sweet gal who is very accommodating. The locals are down to earth and friendly. It's very quiet and a cute, updated cabin. Would recommend it to anyone who wants a quick get away.

Cozy cabin!

We had a great time staying at Cabin 1. Very clean, cozy (even the hideaway bed), lovely basket full of coffees, teas, hot chocolate, popcorn, etc., great selection of utensils/kitchen ware and had a great time with kayak rentals! My only complaint was I wish there were more hooks in the bathroom or somewhere for hanging wet swimsuits and towels. Will definitely recommend and be back!

Lovely Glamping Getaway

We had planned to go camping and decided that we wanted a bed and a shower. This spot fit the bill - a cabin next to a lake so we could paddle board and fish. And pet friendly! Perfect. The pictures don't show the whole experience. These cabins are basically in the parking lot of a popular local restaurant, with several very close homes and when we arrived on Sunday it was packed. People everywhere. We braced ourselves for a less-than-ideal glamping experience, expecting loud days and nights with lots of people coming and going. However, we were pleasantly surprised to find out that the restaurant is closed Monday and Tuesday which gave us the place almost to ourselves. Everything was quiet and lovely. We sat outside and ate at their picnic tables in peace, put up a hammock, fished each morning, paddle boarded on the almost empty, crystal clear lake, and came in each night to a bed (which was mostly comfortable) and the ability to make some food in the small kitchen (which was better equipped than most VRBO homes). An unexpected paradise. The one fly in the ointment was a problem with their water which kept going off in the evening, making it hard to shower and do dishes. They fixed the problem on the last day and took care of us which makes this a 5-star experience, despite the issues. The customer service was top notch and we will keep this on our list of places to return to. Recommended.
