Our accommodation is surrounded by forests and meadows and is located right next to Lake Bigge. Situated on a dead-end street, it’s wonderfully quiet. It’s a 5-minute drive to Olpe.
The Accommodation
Accommodating up to 6 guests, the chalet offers plenty of space across three levels:
On the upper floor, there are two bedrooms—one with a traditional door, the other intentionally open-concept to preserve the chalet’s airy character. On the lower level, there’s another open-concept bedroom that feels pleasantly secluded thanks to the separation across multiple floors.
Two modern bathrooms, a cosy living-dining area on the ground floor, an inviting garden with a patio, and a cosy balcony ensure that every guest can find their favourite spot.

Nestled among rolling hills, vast forests, and sparkling lakes, the region offers everything nature lovers and those seeking relaxation could wish for.

Just a few minutes away, Lake Bigge invites you to spend relaxing days by the water—whether walking, biking, stand-up paddleboarding, swimming, or simply enjoying the view. Numerous hiking and biking trails wind through the green Sauerland around Rhode, suitable for both families and ambitious outdoor enthusiasts.
