Cabin 6 sits on the banks of Minerva Lake in the Adirondacks. Peaceful area with lots of amenities. The cabin has a fully appointed kitchen and full bath. The loft sleeps four: one queen and one full bed. The main living area has a sofa, two chairs and a set of bunk beds. It features a stone wood burning fireplace. Large dining area adjacent to the kitchen. Nice screened porch with a view of the lake.

  • Lake George Steamboat Company offers a variety of tours and tour lengths on three different boats. This is the Mohican, their largest. The trip was about 2.5 hours, cost about $23 per person and traveled from the southern point of the lake to about half way north. There is a snack bar but I did not visit it. There is commentary talking about the history of the lake, area and some of the houses. It was a very relaxing and pleasant way to spend the afternoon.
