"We loved our stay! The house suited our needs for our 2 night stay in Lake Como and we loved the proximity to a lovely hike over the peninsula and away from the "touristy" spots of Lake Como. A couple notes... the pool view is not the view from the house and there is actually a house in most of the view of the house with only a side view of the lake out of the main window so that was a disappointment and honestly a bit deceiving based on the pictures. "My stay at Bed and Breakfast Casa Nini on the eastern shore of Lake Como was the highlight of my trip to Italy. Mr Daniele, the host, was gracious enough to accommodate my late arrival. He took the time to explain the area to me, provided me with a guide of what to see on Lake Como, made dinner reservations for me and prepared a breakfast perfectly tailored to me. His command of English (and I suspect many other languages) is excellent and he is clearly a very intelligent man, who is very interesting to talk to. The property was extremely close to the train station. The room was surprisingly large, well appointed and had an expansive view of the lake, along with a balcony. The entire property, including the room and common areas, were immaculate. Moreover, the room was refreshed daily, with new towels, soaps and cleaning. I’m honestly still in shock at what I paid for the room and level of care I got. Mr Daniele was even kind enough to keep my bags, offer me a drink and let me use the bathroom well after I checked out, having spent another day exploring. I cannot speak more highly of a property or it’s host. "
