1. Hotel Dorado

Hotel Dorado
2.0 star property
Olmedo
8.4 out of 10, Very good, (24 reviews)
"The staff was cery helpful! We were booked for a room on the 4th floor, but I am disabled and we had a ton of luggage and the elevator only goes to the 3rd floor, so we were able to be moved to a room on the 1st floor. Nothing fancy but was very clean and the ac worked well. We were only there for a few hours due to late arrival at airport, but we slept well. Great for budget conscious travelers that just needs a place to sleep! Also had my service dog with me and had no issues."

When is the best time to go to Olmedo?
The best time to go to Olmedo is during the dry season, which typically runs from May to December.

During these months, you'll experience more sunshine and less rainfall, making it ideal for exploring the area and enjoying outdoor activities. The weather is generally warm and pleasant, with average temperatures hovering around 25-30°C. This period is particularly good for those looking to visit the local plantations or take part in agricultural tours, as the drier conditions are more comfortable for walking around.

The wet season, from January to April, sees higher humidity and more frequent, though often brief, downpours. While the landscape is lush and green during this time, some unpaved roads might become a bit muddy, which could affect travel plans, especially for those venturing off the main routes. However, if you don't mind the occasional rain shower, you might find fewer crowds and potentially better value on accommodation.
