"We were very kindly received at the reception desk after we „survived” a deception on our arrival in Porto Vecchio, because the owner of the apartment we had originally booked pretended that he had cancelled the booking, which was not true. The staff at Le Balamina made us feel safe regarding our stay in Porto Vecchio. We also had a delicious continental breakfast. We can‘t but recommend this Hotel which is not far from the port."

"Room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is outside the town centre so it’s best to have your own transport - there is free on-site parking available. If you do then drive into town … go early, or you may find it difficult to park because it gets very busy. The hotel’s pool area is great and well-maintained - towels are available from reception (cash deposit required). The only downside was the lack of a fridge in the room (to keep drinks cold)."

"Friendly warm welcome. Helpful staff leaving luggage: that was really useful. Chosen to be v close to ferry to Marseille. Room comfortable and adequate for our needs. WiFi was awful. Possibly because we were in a high room at periphery of hotel? We didn’t eat at hotel. Overall a nice hotel with lovely staff convenient for ferry travel"
