"Last time I visited Hickory I stayed at the Hilton and this time I stayed at the holiday inn. I will always stay at Holiday inn going forward. We had the best stay! Convenient to all locations, easy check in and out, breakfast was free and very good. Room was way larger than the Hilton one we had. Very clean. Overall a great experience! "

"The home was just perfect! Everything was clean, and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was well appointed. While only my husband and I stayed here, it would be the ideal place for a larger family or group. The pool and views were spectacular, and we spent allot of time just sitting outside enjoying them. We also enjoyed using the kayaks during the daytime, and firepit at night. Our host was very communicative, and answered all questions we had prior to our stay. We will definitely stay here again."

"Considering the house had been used in a TV show, we expected it to be in better condition. The master bedroom had used soap left on the shelf and the power outlets didn't work in the bathroom or the bedroom. This was an issue throughout, as finding an outlet that worked was a game. The downstairs bathrooms had some damage, including a cracked mirror, and one of the showers was non-functional. Overall, the location and house are great, but having fire pits at the pool would be a nice touch if they worked. "
